[Leonardo X Reader]
"Wait! You can't look at me!.. um, sorry."
"No, no I get it. With the whole 'playing hero' thing, sometimes it's not good for others to see you. Whatever your reason is, I don't mind."
There was a long pause.
"...R...
"RAPH!" You called desperately. "RAPH! RAPHAEL!" You were panicking more than anyone else, mainly because it had been you who suggested that he be careful in the first place. "I told you to be careful, but no! You never listen to me!"
"(Y/N), calm down, he'll be alright. We'll find him." Leonardo placed a hand on your shoulder and you resisted the urge to lean into his touch - you didn't do too well. You turned to him, taking a step closer, worry clouding your expression.
"Are you sure, Leonardo? I literally only just got him to stop hating me. It's just my luck that he disappeared - Jesus Christ! What if he actually got bitten by a snake?" You panicked, turning around and calling for him again. "RAPHAEL HAMATO YOU BETTER NOT BE DEAD!"
"She's over reacting." Casey said boredly, only earning a nod from Leonardo. "Probably because she just got her host brother to stop hating her and he probably got Kraang-atized too. Wow, she's right, she does have bad luck." Casey laughed and walked away.
"Her... Host brother?... Wait you mean, Alaric?" Leonardo asked as he caught Casey's attention again.
"Yeah." He replied casually. "She was telling me about it. One time she even came to school with a bruise from him, but now they're solid, I guess. He helped her sneak into her host parent's house every night after the whole 'Karai betrayed us on accident' thing. And he helped her train with her weapon and all kinds of 'big brother' stuff, ya'know?"
"Big brother stuff?" Leonardo's expression turned confused, and Casey smiled under his mask.
"Something the matter, Leo?" He asked, smirking.
"No. Nothing." He replied, looking a little confused. "All right, we split up. April and Casey, you guys take that way. Mikey, (Y/N), and Donnie, you take that way."
"Split up? Are you loco, homey?" Mikey asked hiding behind you.
"Yeah, Leo... I'm not sure if splitting up is such a good idea..." You muttered.
"April and Casey go off alone? Together?" It was obviously Donatello, even if you couldn't see him say those words.
"Mikey, (Y/N), and Donnie, you take that way." Leonardo ordered firmly, the two brothers walking in the direction he pointed.
"What about you?" April asked.
"I'll wait at the farmhouse in case Raph comes back. I won't be much help out there, anyway." He said as he hobbled back to the farmhouse.
"Oh, no." You said determinedly. "No, no, no. No way you are staying here by yourself - even if you're staying by yourself at the house, you keep someone with you. April, you stay here with him, I'll go with Casey. I am not leaving an injured man alone in the dark."
