CATALINA JIST WANTED TO GO HOME. EVEN DESPITE HER SISTERS INSISTENCE that she eat something - just to make sure she was okay -which would normally sway the older twin to stick around, but not today. She just wanted to go home and swaddle herself in her blankets until she felt better; and not even the threat of Edward Cullen being left alone with her sister could change her mind.

She very much doubted he'd hurt after his oh, so heroic actions before.

She felt horrible, when she closed her eyes she could still feel his hands on her jaw. On her shoulder. On her hips

"You sure you're okay?" Bella had asked one last time as Cata moved to push open the back door of Edward's car, gripping her bag over her shoulder. She'd practically ordered him to drop her off at her car.

"Promise, B." Cata sighed, pushing the door open. "Say sorry to the girls for me, yeah?"

Isabella could only nod to her sister; she wasn't going to lie and say she didn't want to spend time with the elusive Edward Cullen. But she didn't want to leave her sister on her own either.

Catalina waved to the car until it was out of sight, her twins reflection watching her out of the wing mirror until it turned the corner. She could only collapse against her car when they were no longer in sight, her head pressing against the cold metal of her car.

She was tired. So fucking tired.

And lonely.

"You want me to drive?"

Catalina couldn't help but jump at the unexpected voice, her head knocking against her car in shock. She pulled away, her hand lifting to press against her forehead. "Rose?"

The blonde Cullen tried at a smile, holding her hand out delicately for the keys."Edward text me. Told me what happened. Thought you might need a lift?"

Catalina handed her keys over without a second thought; she very much doubted she'd be able to keep her eyes open all the way back to Forks. She stumbled to the other side of the car, sinking into her seat as she felt her bones finally relax. "Are you okay?" Rosalie asked as she started the car, looking to the girl who sat besides her with her eyes closed. Her head tilted back into the seat, and Rose couldn't help but frown at the sight of the bruised eye bags below her eyes, her hands trembling in her lap.

"Tired." Catalina spoke softly, curling up in her chair.

"Because of your powers?"
