Amelia POV
I entered my house and locked the door, ready to tell my mom everything that happened today.
Before I could call her, she asked me "How was school? Did you meet Leah?" At the mention of Leah, I broke down.
"What's wrong? Did someone hurt you?" Mom asked. "I saw Leah bullying a girl and then...then she ignored me!" I told her everything that happened today.
After listening to me, mom said "This is so unlike her. I think you should talk to her about this, I've only heard your side of the story, I also need to hear her side. Find it out and tell me." And I nodded.
After talking to my mom a but more, I went to my room, and then all the negative thoughts attacked me.
Why is she ignoring me now? What has gotten into her. First she stops texting me, then I find her bullying Jennifer, and now she's ignoring me...
Am I not good enough for her?
I need to find the truth. Why was she bullying Jennifer? What happened in the past year? Why did she stop talking to me? Why is she ignoring me?
Alas, I started crying, and I cried to sleep that night.

Finally! Leah's will enter the bus now. I'll ask her to sit beside me, then we can talk. Oh here she is! She started coming towards me and I was getting more and more hopes, but then...
She walked past me and sat on an empty seat. All my hopes, crushed. I looked at her for a while till she made eye contact with me. I couldn't help but look away from those eyes, which pushed me aside from their lives.
I turned towards the window, and a few tears slipped from my eyes..

I couldn't help but miss Leah. We've been friends for almost a decade...how could she just wipe me from her life? I need to find out the truth. I need to think...how about the garden? It'll be a perfect thinking place.
And thus, I walked to the garden and...
I saw Leah crying..was she going through things that made her like this? Did something bad happen? I had to time to think. I had to comfort her.
So I walked towards her and I sat down behind her. She didn't seem to notice me. Then I wrapped my arms around her shoulder.
She stiffened for a moment. I wasn't sure if I should let go or keep holding her. Then I decided it'd be better if I let go.
"Sorry, I thought you needed it.." I apologized. "It's okay, thanks." She said coldly, wiped her tears and left me there alone. I felt empty inside. This had never happened before, I hated this feeling.
After she left, I lied down on the grass. A tear slipped from my eyes. What happened to us?
