Souda woke up to her alarm, "Ughhhh" She sighed and turned off her alarm and sat up. "Why so early? I don't got anything planned I don't think" She said and looked at a calendar. She squinted when she saw something written in red marker. "...TODAYS THE DAY I ASK OUT TANAKA HOW DID I FORGET-" Souda yelled at herself and got up and got ready. She grabbed her phone and texted Tanaka, 'Hey, could you please meet me at the...apple tree at the park?' She texted. "Why an apple tree? So random" Souda said and placed her phone down and continued getting ready. She put on her usual attire for the day and grabbed her phone again, she got one new message. 'Hm? I have not a thing planned for today so I wouldn't mind sharing my free time with you' Tanaka's text read. Sounds blushed and smiled, she liked the way Tanaka spoke. She tired her best to make that not sound weird in her head but it still sounded really weird. 'Thanks I'm on my way :D' Souda texted back and went on her way to the park.

Souda was sitting against the tree, playing on her phone when she heard something clear their throat. When Souda looked up she smiled when she said it was Tanaka. "Wow, you actually came" Souda said and stood up, putting her phone in her pocket. "Of corse I did. I said I would" Tanaka said, even though it was summer, she still had her scarf on. "Yeah, okay uhhhh.." Souda looked around, "What is it Mortal?" Tanaka asked. "Uh well it's not important but, would you maybe like to go..out for ice cream later?" Souda asked with blush on her face. "Hm? Is that why you called me here so early?" Tanaka asked and Souda nods slowly, "When and where?" Tanaka asked. "Wait you wanna go?" Souda asked, "I suppose so, something keeps drawing my closer to you and I would like to figure out what it is" Tanaka said and looked away. Souda blushed but nods, "Kay! How about at the ice cream shop near my house and you can choose the time!" Souda said. "Hmm, how about now?" Tanaka asked, "Oh you wanna go now? Sure I don't mind!" Souda said. "Alright then, consider this a date" Tanaka said calmly, "Alrighty, Wait a date?!" Souda blushed even more and looked at Tanaka, "Like a date date?" She asked and Tanaka nods, "Is that not what you wanted?" Tanks asked. "No it's not that I'm just..shocked I guess, heh.." Souda said and rubbed the back of her neck, "I see, I apologize for the sudden step, we don't have to call it a date" Tanaka said. "No I wanna call it a date!" Souda quickly said which caused Tanaka to blush, "R-Really?" She asked while lifting the scarf over her face to cover her blush. "Well yeah, I mean I've tried this for awhile but you never understand. I'm glad to see you got it now!" Souda said with a smile. "Awhile?" Tanaka asked, "That doesn't matter right now. What matters is ice cream!" Souda said and chuckled, "I have never been on a date before so if I am doing it wrong then please inform me" Tanaka said sheepishly. "I mean I dunno how you can do a date wrong but okay, first thing we should do is hold hands!" Souda said and grabbed her hand. Tanaka blushed even more, "Oh-" Tanaka looked away as Souda held her hand. Souda looked up at Tanaka, "If you aren't comfortable with this we don't have to do this, holding hands I mean" Souda said. "No, it's fine. I, I like this" Tanaka mumbled into her scarf, Souda smiled, "Alright, let's go!" She said and led Tanaka to the ice cream shop

Tanaka and Souda made it to the ice cream shop and walked in. The went to the counter and got their ice cream and walked back out. They both ate their ice cream while still holding hands. "This wasn't so bad right?" Souda look up at Tanaka with a smile, Tanaka nods, "I wouldn't mind doing this again" She said. "It's getting kinda late, I should get home" Souda said and let go of Tanaka's hand, "I see" Tanaka sighed and kissed her cheek. "Thank you, Souda. Safe travels" Tanaka waved and walked away. Souda blushed and held her cheek, "Woah..yes!" She cheered and happily went home
