Last fight trial pt1

"Let's begin with a simple explanation of the class trial!" Monokuma said while everyone stayed silent and still.

To recap what had happened, Kiyotaka Ishimaru's body has been discovered. A small bloody wooden hammer was found in the garage near the body, that has been believed it was the murder weapon sense Taka suffered a head injury. A note was also found in Taka's hand, most of the suspicion was on Mondo Owada but he knew it was just to frame him, now it's his job to show everyone that.

"I'd like to discuss where the body was discovered" Makoto said, "It was discovered in classroom 2A at 7:09 am by Sakura and Hina. The time of the murder took place around 5 am" Kyoko said. "Along with the note that was signed by Mondo" Byakuya said and took the note out of his pocket to show everyone. "I'm telling ya I never wrote any note!" Mondo said, "Well, if that wasn't enough then you also had a motive" Byakuya said. "Huh? What motive?" Mondo asked and crossed his arms, "Tell them Neagi" Byakuya said and turned his head to Makoto. "Me? Fine" Makoto said and looked at Mondo, "It has been made clear many times that you don't like Taka, right?" Makoto asked and Mondo went silent. "All he would need to do is write a letter for him to apologize and he has the perfect murder. Of course he was probably not expecting Ishimaru to hold onto the note all this time" Byakuya said with a smirk, "I'm sure he didn't do it!" Chihiro said. "Hm? Why is that?" Byakuya said and turned to him. "I..I don't think I should be the one to say it.." Chihiro said and looked at Mondo. Mondo was confused for a second but quickly understood and sighed, "Well..Umm..I..well-" Mondo couldn't get the courage to say it. "Spit it out, what makes you not the culprit?" Byakuya asked, "...Chihiro, could you tell em?" Mondo asked without looking at him. "Oh, are you sure?" Chihiro asked, when he got a nod from Mondo he sighed and started talking. "You see, Mondo can't be the culprit because he liked Ishimaru" Chihiro said which made Mondo look down at his feet, replaying the fight, and Taka's last words to him in his head. "But they fought like all the time right? I always thought they hated each other" Hina said, "Do you mean like they were just hiding the fact they were friends or something?" Hiro asked. "No not that kind of like, I mean like like..love" Chihiro said, "Mondo..loved Taka?" Makoto asked with a surprised look. Everyone except Kyoko, Byakuya, Mondo and Chihiro all had surprised looks. "Hmm..how can we be sure?" Byakuya asked, "H-Huh? What do you mean?" Chihiro asked. "For all we know, you and Mondo could've worked together. One, close enough with Ishimaru so it wouldn't be a surprise if he saw her, and another with a burning hatred for the victim" Byakuya said. Mondo looked up at Byakuya, "Don't rope Chihiro into this he didn't do anything!" Mondo yelled. "..He?" Makoto looked at Mondo, "That's a thing for another time, right now we are focusing on this trial!" He quickly yelled. "Then say it. Say you love him, that shouldn't be too hard right?" Byakuya asked. Mondo was surprised that Byakuya was asking for such a simple task, "Uh okay? I l-love.." Now he got nervous?? Really?!
"Well? We're waiting" Byakuya asked and adjusted his glasses. "I.." Mondo sighed, "I loved him. I still love him. I...I love Kiyotaka Ishimaru. And to whoever killed him," He looked at everyone, "You have so much more to fucking fear besides your punishment." He said. "Well was that enough?" Chihiro asked and Byakuya chuckled, "Of course not. It's not rocket science to say you love someone even if you don't." Byakuya said. "Hey uh, I'd like to say something" Hiro said, "And what could you possibly say that would be helpful in any way?" Byakuya asked while glaring at Hiro. "It's about the weapon, the hammer" Hiro said, "What about it?" Celest asked. "It's just..doesn't seem kinda small to actually kill someone?" Hiro asked, "I'm sure whoever killed him was strong enough to kill someone with the small hammer" Hifumi said. "In that case, judging by looks, there are two people who look strong enough to kill him with the hammer, Sakura and Mondo." Byakuya said. "I'd also like to discuss something!" Hina said, "What is it Hina?" Makoto asked. "So, the note said Mondo was sorry about not thinking right about his actions and he wanted to say sorry for their fight, did you guys fight recently?" Hina asked and tilted her head. "Wait you guys don't..." That's when he remembered, the walls, the dorms, they're soundproof. There is no way anyone could hear their fight they had. "Wait but.." He looked at Chihiro, "How did you hear the fight?" He asked, completely ignoring Hina. "I heard it from my room" Chihiro said, "The rooms are sound proof, don't lie to us again." Byakuya said. "No r-really! I heard it, I must've forgot to close my door all the way, that's when I heard fighting. I thought it was my imagination, sense I thought I wouldn't hear anything because of the soundproof rooms. But after awhile it didn't stop so I went to see and that's when I saw my door was slightly open. I just followed the yelling till I got to the dining hall and I saw Taka and Mondo fighting. I listened in a little more and after the fight Taka ran past me, he must've not seen me" Chihiro explained. "If that's the case, anyone with their door slightly open or not in their room could've known about the fight" Makoto said, "But it also said something about Chihiro telling him to apologize, did that happen?" Hina asked. "Yeah..after the fight Chihiro came in and told me to apolo...gize..." A realization came toMondo while he spoke. "Was someone listening in even after Chihiro came in?" He asked, "If what Chihiro has been saying is the truth, then that seems to be the case" Byakuya said. "But that doesn't narrow down anyone, he died at a time where no one really has a alibi" Hifumi sighed. "Well, Sakura stayed the night in my room" Hina said, "Why?" Byakuya asked. "Hina came to me, she was scared so I wanted to stay with her the night to calm her down" Sakura said. "Well that covers two people" Makoto said, "But that still leaves Kyoko, Makoto, Me, Mondo, Chihiro, Hiro, Celest and Hifumi" Byakuya said. "Well it wasn't me, as soon as I went to bed I stayed in bed" Hiro said, "Heh, what a solid alibi" Byakuya said sarcastically
Mondo knew this was going to be a long trial.
