𝐄𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲!

I left Mr Wynd's office.

I sighed.

A week of detention for me.

Two weeks for Gold & Co.

Aly glanced at me.

I weakly smiled at her.

The lessons seemed to drag on.

And on.

Even my best lessons.

I ate lunch.

Went to class.

Got shouted at.

Rinse and repeat.

This went on for several days.

I couldn't even go home some of the times.

They were waiting at my front door.

I still had to do Yan's task.

Which I'd rather jump off the tallest building in the world than do.

On a very rare day when there was no one at my door screaming abuse me and Aly went inside and locked the doors.

Poor Aly didn't deserve this.

She had to sleep in the a different room due to her room being at the front of the house.

They'd scream abuse till the morning.

Aly couldn't get any sleep.

She doesn't deserve to be subjected to this.

I'd tried to suggest buying her her own apartment but she laughed it off.

"Then where'd you live?" She giggled.

She stopped.

"You mean you'd rather be on the streets if it meant I could live in peace?" She asked.

"No. We stick together Alec. If you're going through hell, I'll be there to carry you through it." She grinned, I gave her a hug.

I don't deserve her.

I locked my bedroom door.

Time for Yumi's stupid task.

I opened the file she gave me in my browser.

The amount of times I've seen her murder someone is uncountable.

I watched the footage over and over again.

"Hmm... Why does this one seem different...?" I asked aloud.

All of her murders are different.

That way so the police can't tell if it's one murderer or lots.

But this one was completely different.

I got my phone and dialled a number.

"C'mon pick up!"

*Beep Beep*

Silence.

"What the hell do you want?" The voice snapped.

"It's me, Alec." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, Alec, my furious comrade. What can I do for you?" I could practically hear his sinister grin forming.

"No games Elijah. I wanted to ask you something." I frowned.

"What?"

"So, I watched the footage," I paused for a minute, letting him take it in before carrying on, "did you design the killing strategy?"

"You what?" He said.

I bit my lip.

"No." Came the reply.

His cocky attitude melting.

"I know I don't have much purpose in the gang. You're a hacker and my sister is her minion and getaway driver. I on the other hand am a human target. I don't care if I get arrested and put in jail or possibly killed. I do it to honour my siblings. I'm the brute force, in other words. Yumi doesn't trust me enough to give me that kind of task."

He breathed in.

"Good luck, Alec. I'm counting on you to do the right thing and avenge my siblings." He murmured.

*Click*

That came out of no where.

I put my head in my hands.

Wait...

I replayed the footage.

There was a new face.

And I was pretty sure of who it was.

~Later on.~

I edited the footage.

I sent it back to her.

Was there something else I was missing?

I couldn't help but feel I'd over looked something important.

I leaned back in my comfy office chair.

I sat bold upright.

Yumi never sends me files directly to my home computer.

She sends them to the fake account in the abandoned mansion.

My eyes widened.

Was she planning to give my information away to the police?

Or...

Something worse.

Much much worse.
