Chapter Eighty-Seven || Love Sick

When I woke up, I woke up to a large Chanel dress box on my bed. Any modern girls dream. I didn't open the box immediately because the dress inside was for my vogue shoot today, instead I washed my mouth and face then slipped on socks and rushed downstairs. My excitement for today's shoot was bursting at the seems of my meet existence.

"Leo!" I gasped as I walked in the kitchen.

"Sorry to intrude" he said.

"No" I said quickly. "I did invite you after all"

He smiled. "The make up team and hair team won't be here for an hour so your mom cooked brunch"

"Well then let's go eat" I smiled. Today since the weather was so damn breath taking here in California, my family decided to eat brunch on the patio. We never do this mainly because it's too hot or we just don't do it but today it was the perfect spring breeze plus surprisingly nobody was arguing. Yet.

"Is Miles swinging by?" Holly asked.

"Uh probably" I shrugged.

"Why didn't he come to dinner last night?" My mom asked.

"Uh he had made prior plans with his friends" I shrugged. "I didn't want him to cancel last minute"

"Troubles in paradise?" Brandon asked.

"No" I smiled. "Were fine"

"Who else is swinging by?" Max asked.

"No one" My mom said. "Anna asked for it to be a closed set"

"Oo awk I invited Stas and Ky to come" I lightly chuckled.

My mom sighed. "Abigail you'll see them after"

"Fine" I huffed then quickly pulled out my phone and texted them.

"So Leo" My dad smiled. "Were excited for you to join our family"

"Uh thank you sir" Leo smiled.

"I have to thank you for Alyssa's latest style selections, they were fabulous" My mom gushed. "You have impeccable taste"

"Thank you" Leo smiled. "It really means a lot"

"So how old are you?" Sophie asked.

"I just turned nineteen" Leo chuckled. "I got an internship after high school out here and moved from Georgia"

"And now you're living the California dream" I smiled. "But honestly thank you for having superb taste in clothing"

Leo laughed. "I should be thanking you, you made my dreams come true"

"You can thank my dad for that, he is the one signing your paycheck after all" Brandon snorted.

"Oh shush" Holly giggled. "I think the door bell rang"

"I'll get it" Max said then shot up.

"I'm gonna go get some whip cream for my pancakes" I sang then rushed into the kitchen.

While I was closing the kitchen door after getting my whip cream I noticed Max and Spencer talking at the door. "Spence" I said as I walked over to them. "What are you doing here?"

"Uh I'll leave you two alone" Max said then bro hugged Spencer. "See you around kid"

"Thanks" Spencer smiled then we both watched Max walk off.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Uh I'm leaving" he said.

"Where too?" I asked.
