You had ended up running off to the bathroom for a quick pee before you went to the Bridge, which left you arriving later than Riker had done. He nodded at you when you entered.

Once on the bridge, you noticed Data still hadn't shown up so you went to go sit with Wesley.

"(Y/n)!" He greeted excitedly.

"Hey Wes," You replied happy to see your young friend's enthusiasm, "Have you seen Data around?"

He suddenly smirked, "Why? Are you expecting him for something?"

"What are you asking?"

"Come on, we all know you two share share some 'feelings'" He said teasingly.

"We? As in Data and I? I thought you knew Data couldn't experience feelings."

He just rolled his eyes, "That's not what I meant. I mean...I see the way you look at him, and how you're always together."

"Okay, okay. You got me. I do like Data..."

"I knew it!" He shouted. Once again gaining glances from the entire bridge crew, and a glare from Picard. He looked back to you awkwardly, "oops..." He whispered.

You chuckled.

"Ha! And I'm the first one to know, huh?" He said. You could see the gears turning in his head.

"What? Are you going to use it as blackmail or something?" You asked.

He was about to interrupt when you noticed a shadow covering both you and Wesley, you looked up to see Riker standing there grinning. He bent down and whispered, "So, are you two talking about the kiss?"

Wesly's eyes shot open wide, "What kiss?!"

Riker grinned even more, "Between Data and-" He nodded to you.

"For God's sake Will!" You cried out. "This is getting so old so quickly! You're always just- just appearing, and also, I just want to tell you that you are annoying. Thank you and goodbye."

You realized Captain Picard had now walked over to see what all the commotion was about. "Lieutenant (y/l/n), while on the bridge it would be appropriate to refer to Will as Commander Riker despite what...relationships you two have been engaging in off duty. While on the bridge it is impotant to remember that he is your superior officer."

You blinked hard and long, "...relationships? What relationships?... Are you inferring that wi-Commander Riker and I have been sexually involved?"

"It is none of my busine-" Picard began.

"There is no business to be part of!" You stated firmly.

"Except between you and Data apparently," Wesly added giggling.

Picard just raised his eyebrow before deciding whatever was happening he didn't want to get involved with. He went back to his captain chair and sat down. Riker winked at you before also leaving.

You shook your head in disbelief of all the drama, "I swear to God. If I suddenly just got beamed back to my own timeline right now I wouldn't even care."

"That's not true. You would miss your boyfriend." Wesley stated.

You couldn't help but smile, "I wonder where he is" You stated more to yourself than anything.

Wesly leaned in and began to whisper, "Earlier, I went to go see him and 'Lore' was laying on the ground. I talked to Data but...I don't know. It didn't seem right."

"How so?"

"His face twitched...he claimed he was just practicing but also I caught him using a conjuction."

"Do you think Lore somehow switched with Data?" You could feel panic brewing inside.

Before Wesley had the chance to respond Dr. Crusher walked over and kneeled down too, apprently she had been listening to the whole ordeal.

"Wes, tell me again how Data said he immobilized Lore." She asked.

Wesly looked a bit confused, "He told me he just turned him off, Mom...uh, Dr. Crusher."

Dr. Crusher smiled at her son but looked deep in thought before she turned to you.

You nodded your head agreeing it was odd, without either of you needing to even speak.

The turbolift doors opened and Data walked in with his hips and arms swaying. You instantly noticed he was far too...lose.

"Question, Mr. Data." Dr.Crusher said. "Did you or did you not swear me to secrecy about your off switch?" You loved how she cut the bullshit and got straight down to the real questions.

"A change of mind Doctor, if I cannot trust the Bridge crew whom can I?"

"Captain, I'm picking up a bogey coming in on a 'five of clock tangent!" Geordi alerted making you jump. The bridge began urgently discussing whatnot with each other. You didn't even want to ask what any of what Geordi had said meant.

You turned back to "Data" and pulled him aside slightly. You couldn't help but narrow your eyes at him. "Where have you been?"

"On the Enterprise." He said.

"Well, no shit Sherlock!" You crossed your arms.

"I sense tension. Is it because we have recently become involved romantically and you now feel we should stay within close proximety to each other always?"

"Wait. How did you know-" You couldn't let him know your high suspisons of him being Lore. "I just think it would be nice of you to tell me where you went, that's all."

"I believe this interaction is called 'nagging' and is typical behavior of a woman."

You took a sharp breath in and tightned your jaw as hard as possible, resisting the incredible sudden urge to drop kick him out of the airlock. You swallowed your anger, "You're right, sweetheart." You said through gritted teeth, "I was just afraid you didn't love me anymore." You now wanted to drop kick yourself into damned outer space.

Suddenly "Data" looped his hands around your waist and dramatically dipped you. You looked up at his face, he smirked and passionately kissed you. Unlike the kisses before, this one contained no magic or love. No, this kiss was like if you made out with a cold, and slightly horny refrigerator that used waaaay too much tounge. After a few seconds the kiss ended and "Data" twirled you back to a standing position.

"Does that prove I love you?" He asked looking proud of himself.

"Yes. Thanks..." you mumbled with a forced smile. You turned around to see everyone completely speechless and staring at the event.

You decided it was best to leave as quickly as possible before Picard had the chance to kick you off of the Bridge.

You took the turbolift downwards and walked down a random hallway where no one could find you before sliding down the hall and hanging your head between your legs.  You quietly began to sob.
