Ki POV
"Let her sleep" Anthony says holding my hand. He stops walking and looks at me. I just nod my head
"Hmmm is there a library in here?" He asks
"Yea" I take the lead on walking and lead him to our private library. I can't help but to feel bad about hurting my baby girls feelings.
I didn't mean for my irritation to get mixed up with what I was saying. I sigh, we get to the door of the library and walk in.
I walk to the couch by the window and sit down looking outside. Anthony walks around looking for a book.
So much angry and sad vibes going around for me. Seems to me only person who is giving off positive vibes is Anthony. I mean not much he could do anyway so I don't see why he would stress. We'll never mind I can see.
He's seems very unbothered by everything.
Ant comes and sit next to me with a book in his hand. The sun is hitting his skin perfectly. His brown eyes showing brightly, his pink full lips looking smooth, his face golden with the little freckles he has on his nose. I smile he's beautiful
"Put the book away and let's talk, I don't know much about you and I know you have to have questions about me" I say leaning back on the couch
He looks over at me and bookmarks the book then puts it away.
"Okay what questions would you like to ask?" He says he voice smooth and deep.
"What are you exactly, I mean your ethnicity" I ask very curious
"I'm Italian and French, my father is Italian and my mother is French. I can speak both French and Italian" he says bitting on his lip "what's yours?"
"Well" I pull his lip from in between his teeth "I'm full Japanese, but I fluent in Romanian, Spanish, and of course Japanese" I say looking out the window
"That's nice, you'll have to teach me Romanian and Japanese someday" he says looking amazed
I chuckle "of course we'll pretty much have all the time in the world"
"Speaking of will I be getting changed soon?" He asked looking me in my eyes. I didn't see any discomfort or anything in him.
"Well, if you don't want to. Don't want to force you to do something you don't want to do" I say trapping his hand
"Actually, I do want to change. Part of it is because I don't want to grow old and wrinkly while my lovers are beautiful forever. Another part is I feel extremely useless right now. I mean what if it comes down to a war with whoever ill have to be somewhere hiding. I mean I don't fight period but I would like to learn for the sake of my safety and you guys. So yea I'd like to be changed" Anthony says with his face turning red
"I can't really argue with that but I will say your correct about being hidden but it won't be just you. You'd be with Nasir. I will never let you guys fight in a war. Can't imagine what I'd do if either of you got hurt" I yanked him towards me to feel him next to me more
"I'd go on a killing spree then kill myself, nobody and I mean nobody can live without they're mate or mates without going insane and I'll be dammed" I say holding Anthony close to me
He chuckles "well I still want to, how does it work" he asks
"Well me and puppy will bite you, just sense we are hybrids you'll get all our venom. And which ever your body doesn't reject that's what you'll be. No telling what combinations you'll get" I say rubbing his back
He hums. It's silent for a while, me just holding him and listening to his humming.
"Ki how old are you?" He asks out the blue
I chuckle to myself "I was born in 1854" he sits up so quick
"What the fuck? So your.." he paused to do the math "165!?!?" He looks at me and starts laughing
"Your old" he says laying back on my chest
I chuckle "I know but that's when I was born, I wasn't turned until I was 24. My parents were turned with me. Well before me but same day same hour" I say
"How?" He asks
"That's a story for another day love" I say kissing his nose
He nods "question how does the kingdom thing work, because you just said you and your parents was turned I would think they would already be what they are and you born into it." He says with his eyebrows furrowed
"Well in this world it's a certain mark that needs to be looked for. If your suppose to be ruling over all supernaturals, then the moon goddess gives you a mark. It doesn't reveal until your 18 and she is ready to give the throne to a new ruler. Sometimes there are exceptions like my father. He had the mark when he was turned. Not before but after. When I mark you two you'll have it too since your my mates" I explain the best I can without confusing him
"Okay okay I understand" he says I start to get this uneasy feeling and puppy pops in mind
"Uh ant baby lets go check on puppy something doesn't feel right" I say sitting up
"What's wrong?" He asks sitting up as well
"I don't know I just wanna go check on my baby girl" I say grabbing his hand and walking out the library. We walk to our room but the door was open. I looked in and nobody was their.
Then I heard shouting it sounded like it came from in the kitchen. Me and ant looked at each other then ran down to the where the shouts were coming from.
We get to the kitchen and my baby girl is choking my mother. I ran over and pulled her off.
"Baby let go" I shouted but she didn't
"You disrespectful racist ass bitch, come out your mouth again to call me anything besides my name and I will kill you" puppy was screaming at this point I finally got her off her.
"Get that wild animal away from me!!" My mom yells
"Animal?! Bit-" puppy tried to get out my arms
"Shut the fuck up, what happened" I yell
"Your mother went on this rant about how I was not good enough and a nigger and just was talking out the side of her neck like I won't beat her ass" puppy yells
"That's not true" my mom yells
"Ask the pretty girl over their she heard it all" puppy says point to the maid with long black hair and brown eyes.
"Is it true" I ask
"Yes sir" she says looking scared asf
"Guards!! Take this woman to the basement" I say
I throw puppy over my shoulder and grab Anthony's hand
"I'll come deal with you later mother" I say walking out the kitchen.
