My idea for this story is that in the last episode of season 3 a few things went differently:
Anne and Gilbert don't get told about each others feelings (Diana and Winifred don't say anything)
As a result of all this, Anne and Gilbert don't re-unite outside Queens Boarding house.
Gilbert goes to Toronto, where he boards in a house owned by the Wright family- there he meets Fred, and his unusual sister Alice.
Apart from these points, the story will go ahead with the original plot, and with several new characters and settings. I plan on referencing a lot from the books, and also some scenes that weren't necessarily depicted in S1 2 and 3 but they will make sense with the original plot.
