Chapter 6: Basically...

Why, hello there! New chapter :D Valentines Day is in a few days or so... I was wondering if you have a Valentine? I do, haha :) And this time, surprisingly, i am not mentally having a Valentine, HE IS REAL!!! Haha, so comment if you do or don't have a Valentine and who or who it would be? Also i went to target to get some stuff and I lost my beanie that is grey that says 'JE T'AIME' and I only had it for one week... I also cant find my other 2 beanies I hate it SOOOOOOOOOOO much :'( ... anyways, Enjoy the chapter! :DDD

Iris; P.O.V. 

        "...She will be fine, but she will be here just for a few days" I hear a man with a deep voice say. I flutter my eyes open to see Preston and a doctor having a conversation. "P-Preston, where a-am I?" I say nervously sitting up. "O my god, thank the lord you're awake! Are you okay?" He said walking towards me and giving me a tight warm hug. I have a little smile and hug him back, I catch his scent. A fresh summer breeze, my favourite season. I answer that I'm fine, the doctor re-explains what will be happening for the nest few days. He then passes Preston a slip of paper that says:

-avoid ALL social media for a few days or weeks if needed

-observe every move or word that is said

-check room for anythings that could be harmful or bad

-be positive and encouraging

-invite friends and family to help keep things of mind 

 I roll my eyes because, lets be honest, isn't that a little over dramatic. "Uhhh, doc? Don't you think that's a little much?" I say giving him an unsure look. "Well... No, because the way you just reacted to those tweets are quite harmful if you keep observing and sending negativeness to yourself" he said and left the room like a smart ass. I look up and see Preston on his phone. Damn, he looks amazing. I go ahead and look at myself using the camera on my phone. My hair is frizzy and my make-up is all smudged making me look like a weird panda raccoon or something. I laugh a bit and he looks up at me confused. "Can you get me a damp paper towel or cloth pwease?" I say with puppy dogs making me look like I had just been drinking. He laughs and enters the washroom just a few metres from my bed.

"IRIS!" I hear while I was reading some texts. I look up to see Keeley and a girl with extra long jet black hair with pink dyed ends and black rimmed nerd-ish glasses. Keeley hugs me and I smile from the fact that she actually cares. "Hi, your Iris?" the girl with the glasses ask. I nod and we shake hands. "Why are you here with Keeley?" I ask her confused. "Oh, I help with her class sometimes so I stayed with her for a while until Preston text's her about you... I'm Melody" she says smiling. Preston walks back into the room after a while and sits on the left side of my bed. I thought he would hand me the cloth, but no, he decides to wipe my eyes and the rest of my face for me. I start to feel warm inside and actually a bit over whelmed and joyed. His hands are soft, warm, and gentle. I look up at him after he is done. We don't break eye contact and he's holding my hand. Feeling butterflies in my stomach, I blush and smile like an idiot. AM I falling in love? 

Melody's P.O.V. 

I watch as Preston and Iris stare at each other, gosh their adorable. "Guys?" Keeley says waving her hand up and down in front of them.  They finally break the contact and I giggle. "Preston, I never knew you guys were dating! You guys could be like my OTP" I say adoring their connection. She blushes and looks away from him. "Uhhhh... we aren't an item" Preston says getting up but smiling. I raise my eyebrows teasing him. Looking over at Iris I notice her smirk and still bushing. My phone beeps, it's a text from Anna:

Sup, I have no plans tonight... mind if we go somewhere? 

DING! I just thought of the best idea! "Heyyy.... Iris, mind if some of my friends comeover to hangout here with you?" I say smiling ear to ear. Her face brightens up even more and responds "That would wonderful, yes!". I nod and we agree that me, Anna, and a few other friends will arrive in 2 hours. Let this mini party begin!

2 hours later... 

I enter the hospital with my friends Anna, Emily, Alison, Ieda, and Felicia. Anna looked quite a bit like Iris, nice long wavy black hair, tan skin, and was 5'10... she is very tall, I know. Emily on the other hand had long curly brown hair with red and blue tips, tan skin, bright blue eyes, and red and blue glasses that are quite adorable on her, but anyways she is pretty short, around 4'8 I think. Alison was simple with long light brown hazel hair with blue eyes and freckles. Ieda had semi-long brown hair with really mysterious dark brown eyes. Felicia had very short hair that was purple-red-brownish with brown eyes which suited her very well. 

Once we enter her room, Iris is skyping someone, I look over the screen to see a blonde boy. She notices us and exchanges goodbyes with the boy.  "Hey, I'm Iris" she says greeting everyone. They exchange names and all that kind of shit. We sit and talk about ourselves for a while. Finally I see Anna smirk and whip out a deck of cards and I realize what game it is. Cards Against Humanity. "OMG NO I AM NOT READY FOR THIS" Emily says face palming. Felicia smirks and says "Let the games begin".
