Not letting go✨

General POV
In the mid-morning of a Saturday the core 4 are all gathered around a booth at Pop's for 'brunch'.
"I don't understand why people would have one meal instead of two. The word 'brunch' does not exist in my vocabulary." Jughead mumbled into Betty's shoulder before giving her a kiss on her shoulder, her neck and then lightly nibbling on her ear. He had one arm around her shoulders, resting on the booth and then his other arm wrapped around her stomach, fingers lacing through hers. He had his entire weight resting on his girlfriend. Betty ran her free hand through his hair, beanieless for once. Archie and Veronica looked at both of them completely confused.
"Forget about brunch. What the hell is going on with you two?" Veronica screeched. Jughead looked up at Betty, both of them looking just as confused as the other.
"What are you talking about?" Betty questioned.
"Umm, the excessive PDA, the none stop touching. I can barely tell where Jug starts and Betty ends." Archie spoke, as if it was obvious. "You guys are never this touchy. In fact Jughead heaves every time that he sees random people showing PDA." Betty turns to face Jughead and just shrugs. Of course she noticed that he'd been a little extra clingy but she just thought that was because she says that she wishes that he was a little more affectionate with her sometimes.
"Well, I don't know if you remember, but this incredible woman right here saved my life and it made me realise just how much I love her and how short life is. So what, if we're a little cuddlier than usual? We've had to put up a lot worse than you too." Jughead explained.
"Leave them alone now, Archikins. I'm loving this new side to Jughead. It's really sweet." Veronica chastised.
"I've always had this side, but Betty is the only person that has been able to witness it." Jughead sassed back to Veronica.
"Wait. Jug, the reason that you've been like this for the past couple of days is because I gave you CPR?" Betty asked.
"You didn't just give me CPR, you saved my life. I'm forever grateful to you and for you. You've given me the opportunity to live out my life to the fullest. A life that I plan on spending with you. Every single second." Jughead ranted.
"Aww!" Veronica looked at the couple with her hands on her heart, realising just how much they loved each other.
"You're never gonna let that go, are you?" Betty smirked.
"Never. Our kids are going to be hearing all about this." They both laughed before Betty spoke.
"Alright, as long as you don't scar them for life then you can tell them. We don't need them sneaking into our bed at night whilst I'm trying to get laid." Betty huffed.
"Umm, Reggie? Is that you?" Archie jokes.
"Haha, very funny." Betty replied sarcastically.
"Not Reggie, just horny Betty. A side that only I get to experience, just like she only gets to experience my soft side." Jughead leaned up and pretended to bite her nose, before planting a soft peck there and anywhere else on his face that he could find, leaving Betty in first of laughter.
