Damian sat in the back of the hall, pen lightly tapping on his paper. He needed to retake the year since he missed the final exams. It wasn't a problem really, if Damian wanted to, he would have graduated with a masters degree a long time ago. Unfortunately, Bruce somehow became convinced that school days were the best days of one's life and he'd rather Damian attend it normally like everyone else.

Much to Damian's distaste, of course.

Lessons were boring, repeating things he knew a long time ago, his classmates weren't entertaining in the least. Or perhaps they were and Damian never noticed.

After all, he lived most his life at home, since his disposition made him unsuitable to go to school with other kids his age when he was younger. So, his friend group mainly consisted of Jon, his brothers and... Jon.

Even when he started school, the only person he would reply to without insulting them, was Jon. Even if they were in different years.

Damian flipped open his laptop once he decided the professor's lecture wouldn't teach him anything new. He began searching everywhere he could using the internet and knowledge he had at his disposal to search for Jon.

Previously, he got a lead from a mysterious email that he couldn't trace back to the source that Jon was sighted in the state only an hour's ride away from where he was. He quickly went there but was caught not before long.

Hopefully, if this mysterious source is accurate, the information would help Damian greatly narrow down the possibilities of where his partner could be.

Damian browsed through his email, hoping someone returned his emails asking for help. Unfortunately, all was silent and no replies were given. Sighing, Damian snapped shut his laptop and packed up just as the bell rang before darting out of the hall. He had other things to worry about than seeming a little too eager to leave.

Damian rode recklessly since there were no cars, swerving and going at a too fast speed, though he was careful to not cause any damage to the motorcycle.

After all, it was Jon's.

When Jon and Damian decided to move in together since they went to the same school, Jon with Damian's help of course, they'd often share the bike. Riding to the store, joyrides and the like.

Damian would usually ride in front if they shared, Jon at the back, enjoying the ride. Jon never needed to hold Damian, his super strength easily allowed him to fool around while they drove with ease. On the occasions that Jon was in front, Damian secretly enjoyed.

It would be different from their usual rowdy, happy rides, taking on a quieter setting. Damian's arms wrapped around Jon's waist, head leaning tiredly on the bigger boy's broad back. Jon would smile at Damian and ride on, never breaking the silence.

Damian sped to a halt, heart pumping faster than normal. He wasn't sure it it was caused by the ride or the memories.

Getting off the bike, Damian looked up at the familiar narrow staircase that led him to the small apartment that he and Jon shared.
