A year passed...

"Mommy..." My twins ran to me at the same time as I opened the door of our house. Each one of them clutched onto one of my legs and I couldn't move.

"Hey guys." I said crouching in front of them and kissing their cheeks. "Did you miss mommy?"

"Yes." Cayla said clutching onto my neck.

"I have only been out for a couple of hours." I laughed as it seemed I had been away for ages.

I got up and I knew James was in our living room as I heard the TV sound coming from in there. The twins burst in there running and sat on the floor with toys scattered all over. James was sat on the couch holding Corey against his shoulder.

"Was he crying ?" I asked kissing his lips.

"Yep, these two don't let him sleep. They keep on making noise and yelling." He said. "Wow..." He said looking at my hair. "You look like a Hollywood star Ade. Really nice." He smiled.

"I have to look gorgeous for tonight." I told him.

"They delivered my tux a couple of time ago. I left it on our bed." He said.

"Now give me that cute little thing." I said taking Corey off his arms. Corey was calm with his blue eyes staring at me. "Hi baby." I said and the three months boy cracked a smile. "Your brother and sister don't let you sleep and still you're all smiley, how lovely is that, uh?" He opened his lips in an O but no sound came out of it.

"Soon he is going to blurt sounds." James commented watching our boy over my shoulder.

"Yeah... look at his attention?" I said as Corey was just looking really serious at James hearing his voice.

"Hey... cutie thing, hearing dada?" He baby talked.

James had been a terrific father to Corey since day one. There was no jealousy, nothing. He'd spent more time with that baby on his lap that I can remember. He'd feed him whenever it was needed. He'd burped him. He'd change his diaper. He was just tender. It was not like he wasn't with the rest of his children but I think the fact that he asked to have this one created a special bond between them, or maybe that baby had a special and different meaning to him that I didn't know about.

"Daddy, play with me?" Cullen asked.

"What do you wanna play?" James asked him promptly kneeling on the floor.

He was more and more dedicated to our children.

"This." Cayla said giving him a green piece she had on her hand.

"Constructions!" James exclaimed. He gathered all the pieces, obviously he would be the one managing the pieces and the twins would watch. "So, what do you want me to do?" He asked them.

"A house daddy." Cayla said clapping.

James began to do it while I watched the three of them with my baby already sleeping on my lap.

"Give me a blue one." James asked. Cullen extended him a yellow piece. "Is that blue?" James asked him and Cullen looked confused at it and then at the others on the floor.

"Which one is blue sweetie?" I asked him.

He still looked serious and then he put his hand on a blue piece but didn't grab it, he looked at James expecting his reaction.

"Yes buddy, that's the one." He said.

Cullen smiled and gave him the piece. That way we were able to teach our kids the colors. It was a good exercise.
