A/n: Damn that's a lot of words!

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

It had been two days since I had arrived in my estate and the Agnigarh Manor. I had christened my manor as Agnigarh because it's namesake was a very legendary element in the history of my kingdom. Legend has it that the most beautiful princess in all of Pragjyotispur used to reside there and the monument actually was a fort made of fire to protect from any invaders or attacks.

In Assamese, Agni means fire and Garh means fort. So it literally translates into 'Fort of Fire'.

Our press conference was handled by Fury and because of that we got at least one day to ourselves including the fact that I got to meet Virginia Potts or as the world calls her, Pepper Potts, the CEO of the Stark Industries and a real woman of honour.

The both of us bonded over business and soon were really close friends. After such an eventful day, I caught up on my z's in the hopes of being able to get a peaceful night's sleep. Alas, I was wrong.

It was a bright morning in the hustling city of New York and unbeknownst to me, all the people in the manor were wide awake, going about their days. Had I not been so invested in my slumber, I would have heard Tony's and Steve's muffled enquiries on whether or not to wake me up. Bruce's answer was as usual. If they valued their lives, they must refrain from doing so.

But it was not my best friends who were destined to wake me, rather a raven's. Asgardian, might I add. Nature had tried to warn me but I elected to ignore it as I turned my back towards the huge glass sliding door which led to the attached balcony from where rays of sunlight poured in and hugged Ratri, who too, was sound asleep next to me.

She had arrived from Korea just before dinner last night with approval from Cho that my tigress was healthy as can be.

Ratri and I had been sleeping in the same bed since the time she was a cub. Her fur provided me warmth whenever the days were cold and she felt secure whenever I was next to her.

I slipped so deep into my sleep, that I travelled to my past. Amongst the many faces I encountered, one brought tears to my eyes.

His obsidian eyes bore into my (gemstone that matches your eye colour) and his pouty lips held a ghost of a smile. His hair was combed neatly and he was wearing his Navy admiral's uniform.

"How are you, Señorita?", He inquired implying the term of endearment he used for me.

His voice was just as bold and husky since the last time I saw him. A pain shot through my heart when I realized that he wasn't alive anymore and I couldn't hold him in my arms like I did before.

I gulped.

"Half but fine.", I replied. His left eyebrow shot up automatically in a playful manner.

"Ab batao (Expression in Hindi). After achieving such phenomenal success, her highness feels half. Why?", He asked again. I chuckled bitterly.

"You know very well why, admiral. You know very well..." He sighed deeply.

"I am proud of you, you know. You saw past a man's flaws and forgave him for what he had done to you. Not many are capable of doing that, (Y/n). You have no idea how much peace you granted him and one day, I am sure you will find the real culprit.", He said solemnly. Then he gained a cheeky grin on his face.
