Now we have to drive three hours south to get back to where we were. We drove past the gas station and down the way I began walking yesterday. It was going to be pretty quiet for a while we had to find our own kind of entertainment.

I turned the radio on to listen to some music and stopped at one of my favorite Christmas songs, Do They Know It's Christmas by Band-Aid.

I began singing verse one but noticed Lawson was singing along too. We noticed each other and began singing openly. Our harmony was terrible, but that didn't matter, at least we still had fun singing it together.

After the song ended, I patted Lawson's shoulder and sighed. "You know what?" I said. "You're not all that bad."

"Same here." He responded. "I don't mean to screw up all the time."

"Don't sweat it, everyone does. Look at me. I got you to drive me to Florida."

"And I actually agreed to do it."

We both laughed and continued to sing various songs that played over the speakers. Some of the songs were repetitive over the next hour of singing, but hey, at least it's not any of that metal band junk.
