Engagement day ,Raizada Mansion.
Arnav came down wearing his casuals to have breakfast.
"Morning." He sat on his chair.
"Aren't you going to office today?" Anjali was picking a fight.
"Nope, am working from home and that's the silliest question you asked someone who's engagement is today." He responded trying to keep calm.
"I was only asking a question an there's no big deal about it." She rolled her eyes.
"Off course there is." He got and was about to leave.
"At least have breakfast arnav." Nani tried.
"I lost my appetite." He strode to his room and dialled Khushi's number.
"Yes arnav." She answered immediately.
"What time are you coming." He asked
"In 2hours time. Why?do you need something." She asked.
"Food." Stuttered
"Food, okay I would be there in an hour." She responded
"But you..." He was about to speak when khushi laughed.
"Don't worry expect me in an hour,bye." She disconnected the call and arnav went back to his work.
Gupta house
"Prito let's go." She dragged her along with her to the kitchen holding a mini bag.
"Let me prepare the dish I would be done in 30 minutes then we can go." She made prito sit in her chair.
"Aye captain." Prito saluted.
When khushi was about rapping up then her aunt showed up in the kitchen.
"What the hell are you doing in my kitchen? you even used all the veggies and ingredients." She screamed.
Khushi looked at prito, prito took some cash from her pocket and kept it in anya's palm.
"I hope that would be enough for the veggies and ingredients I used in the kitchen and prito and I would head first to the Raizada mansion and don't worry arnav would sent his driver to pick you up." Khushi smiled at her.
Arya didn't know what to say so she zipped her mouth and left. Khushi finished and they left in Prito's car.
"You should have seen her face as if she have seen a ghost." Prito spoke bursting out laughing and khushi smiled.
Raizada mansion
The door bell ranged and hp went and opened.
"Khushi welcome." He greeted and she nodded.
Khushi walked in with prito, she saw the raizada's busy in the hall.
"Oh khushi you came early." Mami asked her making the others looked up Anjali literally rolled her eyes.
"Yes I did." She said awkwardly.
"Who is with you?" Nani asked
"My sister I mean best friend.'' she was trying her best to hide her uneasiness.
"Hello am priyanka and khushi calls me prito nice meeting everyone." She bowed and got up, Nani laughed.
" What's your profession?" Anjali the investigator asked. Prito fumed.
"I was actually a junior chef at Star restaurant and I decided to go into modeling." She said making Mami gasped and looked at her in admiration.
"I guess you work in some cheap company as a model." Anjali smirked.
