Chapter 5- Nothing was going to stop me this time

Tripitaka PoV
I ran back to the tavern Adrenalin causing through my veins at my discovery and I forgot about my knee.
"I found it!!!", I shouted  at them smiling literally beaming.
"Cool. Well stay here one more day and night and leave not tomorrow the day after.", Pigsy said and I shrugged.
"I mean as long as we've got the scroll we can stay as long as we like.", Keato said and I smirked at my friends.
You silly billy.. Especially earlier..
They notice my knee and they bandage it up.
I think I was shaking because Sandy put her hand on my shoulder.
"You must be tired huh? Going three days straight without sleep..", Sandy said and I grunted in reply.
"Sleep with me? I know you've been getting nightmares..", Sandy said and I grunted again.
I like to hug the leather and think about Monkey before sleep which I couldn't do if I was in bed with sandy.
I sighed.
"Alright.. I could use some sleep.", I sighed and snuggled in bed.
I put the scroll in the leather and cuddled it.
I may have even kissed it and whispered,"Night monkey.", but I don't remember the next morning.
When I wake up I realise I actually didn't have a nightmare.
I yourn and stretch to the others.
They seem to be in better spirits today.
Maybe because we found the scroll.. Or because I had slept..
I decided to actually look around town.
I guess I'd been in a bad cloudy mood for 2 weeks.. Maybe 3 weeks..
But I'm feeling better.
I walked through the stalls and bought a peach and placed it carefully in the basket.
I bought a few other things like food.. I got myself a new outfit and a yellow scarf that looked like monkeys. I flicked my eyes shut. No don't think about him please.. I paid the shop keeper and put the scarf on. It didn't match my blue monk clothes but it reminded me that's all.. I soon wished it had stayed this nice.
As I went to eat my peach at the tavern I notice Pigsy and the gang talking about me.. Behind my back..
"Yeah.. Should we have told her she's a demon? You know for her safety?", Sandy said and I hold in a chocked breath.
"Maybe.. What you think kid?"
Kaeto hanged his head and spoke nothing like his normal attitude.
"Maybe.. She's a threat.. That's why we need to take the scrolls of her.. A demon can't be trusted with them!", Kaeto said the last bit spite in his vioce.
I walked back feeling dizzy.
No... NO!
I ran for the mountain and I couldn't help but sob when I got there.
I hugged and hugged the scrolls. Thinking about a time before his death.. A time when I was happy..
I rocked until I finally fell asleep.

Sandy POV
We got back to the tavern to find no Tripitaka.
Strange.. We noticed the empty basket of stuff sprawled along the side walked like it had been dropped in a hurry.
We all looked at each other and felt something was of.
I was relieved as I saw a little monk walk up and hug me.
"Sandy!!! I missed you guys soo much.. I literally can't thank you enough for being there for me.. I really needed it you guys.", She said tears streaming her face. I hugged her again.
"Anything.. Now tell me where you got this amazing yellow scarf? And it looks like monkeys.", I said and was shocked when she didn't flinch at his name. Or look down instead she smiled even more.
"About that.. I was meditating in the monastery and I made contact with him.. Guys he's not dead!", She said tears in her eyes.
Pigsy erupted in a cry of joy and he scooped up Trip and hugged her tightly. Not to tight or he'd kill her.
"Where is he?!", Pigsy said and he put Trip down.
Kaeto studies her and frowned.
"But you.. Went shopping.. And the mall is that way along with the monastery.", He said and he looked deep into her eyes.
"I took a detour it's why I was late.. And for the basket I have no clue how it got here.", She said and Kaeto stared at her and slid his hands in his pocket.
"Can I have a hug?"
She hugged him and he wrapped his arms around her neck. He didn't feel a pin.. it wasn't  a copy Ragfish controlling her then..
Still I could tell he was thinking something was of. Kaeto smart.. he studies people.. I like that about the little nightmare.
Once he pulled of we all went inside but I had an uneasy feeling we where being watched.
I turned back to the street and saw nothing. The sun was setting anyway.. no one would be out. After I went inside I sat next to Trip and she still kept the leather on but she felt the scarf smiling.
"So how'd you make contact with monkey?",Pigsy asked not hiding his excitement in his voice.
"I went in there to clear my head and I started meditating.. Guess who also was? We saw each other in our minds.. I at first thought it was a memory.. He looked so different.. He wasn't wearing his amour he was waring some normal farm clothing like he had stole it.. He walked up o me first he was frowning.
"Tripitaka?"
I then hugged him without thinking. He hugged back and then I told him everything.. I mean everything... Even the.. Love bit.", her face heated up and she swallowed before she continued. "He looked confused as I told him my feelings.. How badly I missed him.. How good I was with his weapon. He laughed at that and said when we meet at desert, he'd see how good I was with it.. Then.. He sighed and pressed his hand on my cheek...", her face was turning red as she talked remembering I smiled.
"It's a bit.. Um.. Kaeto might wanna close your ears mate..", She added and Kaeto rolled his eyes.
"We.. Kissed.. Passionately.. Believe me when I say the monkey king is the best kissser ever..", she trailed of and Kaeto blurted out.
"Oh yeah? What else did you do in limbo?" With that Trip went red.
"Later when your older.."
That was enough to make me and Pigsy uncomfortable and amused at the same time. "We knew it was a matter of time before you both admitted your feelings.", Pigsy gave with a chuckle and Trip have a smile.
"Yeah.. We leave at the crack of dawn.. So we can meet him faster.. In limbo it was weird to kiss.. I wanna try it when we meet!", She moaned like a child but I was glad to see the old trip was back.
"Ok. We leave at dawn."
That's not what happened..
As it rolled around Trip had already packed our bags. She really wasn't kidding.. She realllyyy wanted to see monkey.
"Alright let's g-"
Before anything else we heard the sound defining scream of Tripitaka.
We looked up to see no emotion on our Trip.
What the hell???
When we exited the tavern we saw Trip standing on the edge.. Something in her hand. She drops it.
We then saw themselves?!!! Up there aswell. We then noticed a hooded figure standing out of sight to Trip but visible to them.
"It's a demon.. It's after the scrolls.", Pigsy snapped and before we could do anything.
Trip shakingly stepped of the mountain..

Tripitaka POV
As I woke up I saw them..
Ofcourse they knew I'd be here.
"Tripitaka!! Or should we say demon.", Sandy smirked and it sliced my heart.
"Yeah? Hey demon.. Liar! Your the reason monkeys dead!", Keato smirked to sandy and I stare at them and felt every word cut deep into my soul.
"He could've lived if you had died! Why didn't you let shadow kill you?! Monkey wouldn't of cared if you had died..", Pigsy snapped and I stared at my father figure and sobbed.
I gripped onto the scrolls and pulled out the staff. I extended it slowly.
"Please I don't wanna use it..", I sobbed and my breath became shaky.
"You won't have to.. If you die.. Leave us the stuff dear... Well take care of it.. Go and see monkey.. Don't you want to?", Sandy said and I could feel my grip loosening.
"I do.. More than anything...", I admitted and that's when sandy stepped forward and handed me a dagger.
"Kill two birds with one stone.."
I got her hint and...
I screamed and dropped it in panic of what I had done.
"Shhhh... Just step of... None would miss a demon.", Her words sink in deep and I feel my head feel dizzy.
"Ok... I have nothing to live for anyway.. Monkeys gone.. You guys hate me.. I.. Should just step of.."
I saw Pigsy and Kaeto nodding.
"Yeah just do it.. Demon.."
I sobbed and got closer to the edge...
It happened in a flash..
The freedom of taking that final step. My final words, "I love you monkey..", I said through shaky breaths.. I finally stepped of the ledge and the free falling wasn't  the worst part of it at all.
I finally feel free and I smile knowing what's going to happen.. I wait to break my neck on impact but I'm stopped. I'm being lifted up but I keep my eyes closed maybe this is what happens when you soul exits your body???
It not..
I recognise the smell and I'm about to call I'm dreaming until I feel the blood drip.. I squeeze my eyes shut...
"Tripitaka.. You scared me...", I can tell he's been crying..
