My Written Verse

Middle of the night

In the edge of my bed

Under the moonlight

Verses in my head

Grasping my pen

As if it's your hand in mine

See you until then

Until we can fall out of line

Lips curve into a smile

Remembering your eyes

Making me stop for a while

Just clearing my hazy skies

Finding myself in serenity

In the thoughts of you

A quiet melody

Of heartbeats in two

So watch me slow

As I begin write

More than you can ever know

I figured it all from black and white

So just stop and kiss my tears

Just leave the words to me

Wiping them, erasing my fears

Your arms are where I want to be

So watch me fall

As the conspiring universe

Has broken down my walls

And made my written verse

Seems like I could never lose

Words for you from my all

And it's for you to choose

If you'd once again fall

For I could never seem to run out

Of the things I wanted to say

Of the reasons why I can't live without

The thoughts of you every single day

Thoughts at the back of my mind

About you that made sense

The missing pieces I began to find

Knowing you couldn't be dense

To feel the way I feel

To know what I seem to learn

That this one's for real

A connection that can never burn

I just want you to know

That this universe

Has made it to show

That you are my written verse

Watch the words fall in line

Into a verse of written poetry

With your eyes locked in mine

In the tune of this silent melody

Pulling our heartstrings

Until we find each other

In every little things

I wanted you to remember

So as I set you free

To see the world and live

Once there was me

Whom in you, has always believe

I hope this won't be the last

Piece of me that I can write

About you and falling so fast

Promise, I'll be alright

I just want you to realize

That once you became my poetry

You became my sweet sacrifice

My written verse in a silent symphony
