Tell-Tale Sign

Shadows into the night

Streetlamp's our spotlight

A moment's bliss

Of your forehead kiss

You took me for a walk

And you're the one to talk

About hopeless romantic movies

As fascinating love stories

Moonlit sky gazing the stars

As you listen to my fought wars

You said nothing but those three words

Erasing the pain of piercing swords

You told me about your dreams

And mine in silent screams

I told you I had nothing

But you told me I am your "everything"

Our steps came to a stop

I was afraid we'd flop

But your gaze locked into mine

Kept telling me that we'll be fine

Wiping the tears as they flow

Whispering, "I won't let go"

Under the moon and the stars to see

That was when you first kissed me

Saying all the words unspoken

Telling all the lines forgotten

Taking the risk and fall

This time it's at our call

Maybe it's a tell-tale sign

As the stars align

That the universe conspired

And this love has inspired
