We took a shot
In the dark
And what we got
Was a spark
Hit the ground

The only sound
From the start
In the vast darkness

Saving me from this mess
From each heartbreaking lie
We held on too tight
Breaking the fall
Until we see the light
Standing here so tall
Words- how far they took me
And what I have written
Took me to this galaxy
Where we'll never be forgotten
For I've written a universe
Of me and you
With every line and every verse
Speaks about how I love you
Nothing can break us apart
No one can see us shatter
Memories from the start
Will always make us remember
I am glad
That for once
I ever had
Took the chance
In this universe
Of me and you
