On A Starry Night

(Inspired by Art Alonzo Justiniano's edited photo of Van Gogh's painting, "Starry Night")

All she can remember it was too late

On a late night, came her fate

They were both wide awake

Confessing every mistake

You asked her if she could stay

She was thinking the same way

'Cause you didn't want to end the night

Just writing stories on a starry night

Can't stop herself from smiling

And she can see you grinning

While reading every piece she has made

From that feels that never seem to fade

If she could only hug you tight tonight

Under the same skies, on a starry night

With nothing left for the both of you to hide,

Next to you, where she wants to reside

You saw her fought her wars

And she saw you on all your scars

You knew she made some mistakes

And she was there through your earthquakes

It's the way you love, she had to give back

That kept her so still on her track

Just know that she'll want you forever

Even when you're not together

There's a vision in her head

Of her singing on your bed

And you smiling at her

One day, you'll have her forever

Now she figured it all out

It's you she couldn't live without

So she promises to be always here for you

For you've done the same for her, too.
