Tell me,
How do I find serenity?
In the waves of hurt
That seemed to overflow my entire being?
Show me,
How do I escape-
From a past
That seemed to haunt me?
My words,
Left my lips
Expressing my doubts
My ghost and fears are creeping in.
Asking you,
And all I see-
Are your eyes
That speaks of a thousand words unspoken.
Your silence,
Was the loudest answer-
With your eyes finding mine,
Giving me the final answer
Loving me,
In your silence
Gave me the understanding
That you'd never let go
Tears falling
Waves crashing
From there I knew-
I finally found it all in you.
Arms open,
Finding myself,
Holding tighter than ever-
In an embrace that became my safe haven
