Chapter 9. The Secret Brother

Delrun stands on the balcony with Narika and tells her something important. "Narika before I gave you up you had an older brother that cared about you" Narika was confused. "I had a brother? I didn't know about that. What happened to him?" He tries to remember and explains. "When I gave you up your brother went out to find you. He felt sorry for you and angry with me. So now he's out there looking for you. He's just like you. Half vampire and human. I kept him separated from you growing up because I was afraid he would hurt you because of his vampire half. But now I think he's ready to see you" Narika stands there and looks out past the town. "I have a brother......I'm going to go find him dad and thank you for telling me" Delrun nods. "His name is Victor. He has red and black hair like me" She nods and jumps off the balcony and goes to find her secret brother. "Good luck Narika" He goes back to Caspian and the others. "Where's Narika?" Caspian questioned him. He tells them that she went to find her brother on her own. Caspian sighs since he didn't like it when Narika goes out on her own. "I'll go and join her. Silver you stay here with Delrun and Jumin" Silver nods. "Bring them back father" Caspian nods with a smile and becomes a giant bat and goes to find Narika. Meanwhile Narika searches for her brother. "Now where could this brother of mine be? Of course dad didn't mention his location to me. And I'm not sensing any other vampires around here so I guess I'm safe. Victor? Victor are you out here?" She keeps calling his name but there was no answer and she sighs. "I won't give up on finding him. Although I'm still surprised I even had a family back then. I hope I can find him before someone or something else does" She keeps searching for him and won't stop. Elsewhere Caspian kept searching for Narika. "I know she's out here. I hate when she's alone. I hope she's ok" He continues searching when he spots her. "Narika!" He flies down to her and turns normal then runs to her. Narika turns around seeing Caspian and runs to him. "Caspian what are you doing out here?" He hugs her glad she was ok. "I came to help you find your brother. I hate when you go out on your own" She smiles and kisses him softly. "I knew you were going to follow me anyway Caspian. Now come on let's go find my brother" Caspian stood there blushing then follows her "I'm just as surprised as you are Narika. Finding out you had a family before you met me. Now our family will be bigger" Narika nods and wraps her arm around his. "Of course Caspian. I still have a lot to learn about my past. Like why my father gave me up" Caspian pulls her close and looks in her eyes. "I will do everything I can to help you with your past my dear. Whatever pain you feel I want you to share that pain with me. I'll never let anyone hurt you or hate you" Narika smiles and hugs him. "Thank you Caspian" He smiles hugging her. "Your welcome my dear" Just then an arrow came out of nowhere and headed for Caspian but Narika quickly grabs it and breaks it. "Looks like we have company. Show yourself!" A tall man approaches them and looks at them.

"Damn it another miss" Narika stands there looking at the man. "Wait are you.....Victor?" Victor looks at her. "You know my name? Who are you?" He aims another arrow at them. "Oh of course you don't recognize me. I'm Narika" Victor slowly lowers his arrow. "Narika......" A tear ran down his cheek as he threw his bow to the ground and immediately runs to her and hugs her tightly and cries. "Narika it is you.....my little sister" She hugs him tightly. "Yes Victor it is me. Shhh it's alright" She sits with him and rubs his head calming him down. "All these years Narika....I've been searching for you. Now look at you. Grown up and changed" He then looks up at the vampire behind her and reaches for his bow but Narika stops him. "Its ok Victor this is my husband" Victor was shocked. "Y....Your husband!!! Are you crazy!! Your like what 18? 19? And your already married!!!" Narika laughs softly. "That's not all Victor we also have a son together" Victor tries to process everything. "A son.....son...." He faints from all the information. Caspian picks him up. "Looks like he missed out on everything you did Narika" Narika nods and stands up. "Let's head back to the castle then we'll explain everything. I have a feeling he'll have an endless conversation of questions for us" Caspian nods as they head back to the castle. They arrive back at the castle and Caspian sets Victor on the bed and everyone waits for him to wake up. Silver walks over to his parents and sits in his mother's arms. "So I have an uncle mother?" Narika nods. "Yes Silver you do. He's gonna have a lot of questions for us. Let's just hope he doesn't freak out to much" Victor slowly opens his eyes and looks around. "Uh.....where am I? Huh? Narika what the heck is going on here! What am I doing here?" Narika calms him down and explains. "Your in my home Victor. I live in a castle with Caspian and our family" Victor looks around the room then looks at the boy sitting in her arms. "Is this your son Narika?" Silver nods. "Yes I'm their son. I'm Silver. That makes you my uncle Victor. I'm a vampire myself like my father" Victor shifted back a bit on the couch. "A.....another vampire. Just splendid. Huh? Uh Narika is that......our father?" Narika nods and Victor immediately tackles their father. "You sent my sister away!" Narika just sat there and watched them letting them have their time. Delrun picked up his son by his shirt collar and set him down. "I know what I did and it will never happen again Victor. I did it for her safety about her so she wouldn't know the truth until I would find her again. Now with Prince Caspian's permission. We would like to be part of Narika's life again" Caspian looks down at Narika. "What do you think my dear? Should we let them stay?" Narika nods with a smile. "They can stay here as my family Caspian" Delrun smiles and hugs his children. "Its good to be back with my son and daughter. I won't let anything to you two again" Narika and Victor both smile then Victor looks over at Silver. "So Silver was it? That's amazing I was blessed with a nephew. I'm sure you'll become a powerful vampire like your father" Silver shook his head. "Nope. I'm just going to be a loyal son to them. I don't fight. Besides a prince doesn't fight. Only to protect my parents when I have to. Theirs some things I'm very skilled at thanks to my mother's teachings. I look after her with father" Victor nods. "I see. Well you'll make a great vampire prince. But wait a minute Narika if he's a prince wouldn't that make you and Caspian King and Queen of the Vampires?" Narika looks up at Caspian. "That would make sense. But that's if Caspian's father decides to pass the throne to him" Caspian thinks. "Well let's see.....Queen Narika and King Caspian.....It does have a lovely ring to it" Caspian's father walks into the room. "I think they should take over as King and Queen. Caspian I think your ready to become a king" Caspian looks over at his father and thinks. "As for you Narika you would be a beautiful queen" Victor said with a smile. "I think father would agree with it to" Delrun nods. "I agree with Victor. My daughter should become a queen with her husband King Caspian" Narika blushes and Caspian holds her close. "Sounds like a plan to me. Right my Queen?" Narika smiles. "Of course my King" Everyone in the room smiles then Victor walks out to the balcony and thinks. "I still can't believe I found her.....My little sister all grown up with her new future. I'm happy for her. I want to see her happy and not upset. I don't like seeing her upset" Jumin walks in and was surprised seeing the big family and he fixes his glasses. "My my what a big family my lady" Victor turns around on the balcony and looks at the butler. "A butler? Narika who's he?" Jumin answers his question. "Allow me my lady. Ahem I am Jumin butler of Caspian and Narika. I am also a vampire. I do whatever they tell me amd I look after the castle and fight when I have to. I never let them down. I must do as I'm told for I am bound to them" Victor walks over to him and circles him. "Wow Narika your very own butler. But don't vampires search for servants? While I was searching for you I've learned more about us vampires and we can control humans and make them our servants. Maybe you should fimd some for yourself" Narika thinks. "My own servants.....I guess it wouldn't hurt to find some" Caspian smiles liking the idea. "My love let's go find you some servants just for you whenever I'm not here for you" Narika nods and goes outside with him and searches for servants together.
