Your POV

"See ya," I said walking out of Marshall's house. "And sorry for being such a baby... I just-" Marshall interrupted me by putting his hand on my lips. He smiled at me.
"Don't worry. I get worked up over small things too. I wrote a song about my mom stealing my french fries," he said.
"Oh my god, you wha-" "shut up!" Marshall cut me off- blushing. I smirked and closed his door.
"Later,"I said.

I smiled to myself while putting my umbrella over my head. That was nice. I should try hanging out with more vampires. I didn't even think there were any in the land of Aaa. But there's Marshall. He's cool. I've been thinking a lot lately, and I think I have a crush on him. In the romantic books I read, the way I feel is how the main character feels. I could never tell him though. There's no way he'd like me back. Also, love only leads to heartbreaks. I think I've had enough of that in a life time. ETERNAL life time to be exact.
"MARSHALL LEE!" an angry voice yelled. I turned to see a pink man staring at me with a really ticked off look on his face. He thinks I'm Marshall? He walked up to me and took my hand, pulling me into the shade of the forest so that I wouldn't get burnt. Suddenly, he pinned me to a tree holding a fist to my chin causing the umbrella to fall to the floor.
"What the hell, man?! Get off me!" I exclaimed. His angry face immediately softened into guilt.
"Ohmygoshohmygosh! I'm so, so, so sorry! I thought you were Marshall Lee, a vampire who is a really huge ass- oh! Excuse my language. He really makes me angry. I just- I'm so sorry..." he said. He rubbed his neck and bowed his head. I couldn't help laughing at how much he was overreacting. He looked up at me, surprised. I put a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, Marshall can be an ass sometimes with all his pranks," I said. Marshall had given me more confidence in talking to people. As long as they don't know who I am, it should be fine. The boy smiled widely.

"Thank you for being so forgiving. I'm Prince Gumball, I rule the candy kingdom. I haven't seen you around before, what's your name?" he asked me. I frowned slightly. What if he's heard of me? What if when I tell him, he'll suspect I'm that freaky siren girl, y/n?
"Um, I'm Y/n," I said with really little confidence. Despite how nervous I was, he kept smiling. Why does he keep smiling? It's sort of annoying. Marshall would have notice how insecure I was and asked if I was ok. Wait, am I comparing Marshall and Gumball?
"Are you a vampire? How come I haven't seen you before? I know almost everyone in Aaa. Where are you going? Do you want to come to the Candy kingdom?" he asked. Wow, this guy sure loves talking.
"Oh, um... yes I'm a vampire, I don't socialize much because I um, don't want to scare people since I'm a vampire in all... and I was just going home. I guess I could tag along with to your kingdom,"
"Great! Let's go! It's this way," he said happily still not noticing how suspicious I was being. I tightened my grip on my umbrella. Prince Gumball sure smiles a lot. Another thing unlike Marshall. Why do I care if Marshall and Gumball are different? Oh yeah. I like him. I guess this is kind of like what a normal girl feels like.
"Ta da!" Gumball said once we got to the entrance of the kingdom. My jaw dropped. I'd never seen so many colours at once. Did he say candy kingdom?
"I-is it all made of candy?" I stuttered.
"Yup. Try some," he said picking up some dirt and handing it to me. I ate it hesitantly. (A/N: I figured adventure time vampires can eat candy since Marceline had those fries her dad stole...)
"This is delicious!" I exclaimed. He smiled even wider, if that was possible.
"Yes it's made of the finest cocoa beans! If your wondering where cocoa beans come from they're actually from an evergreen tree called the Theobrama cacao which is..." he went on to talk about where chocolate came from. 3 words I'm trying not to say right now: I. Don't. Care!!!!
"Do you want to come in the castle? I made cupcakes," he said.
"Actually I-" I was cut off my Gumball's annoying voice.
"Great! This way," he sang. I already don't like him. He's too happy, won't stop talking, is always acting smart, and he doesn't seem to care what other people have to say at all. He just talks and talks and talks. It's annoying. He's annoying. I sighed as we walked in the castle.
"Annoying isn't he?" a familiar voice said next to me. I looked around for Marshall. I didn't see him.
"I'm invisible. I don't want gumwad over there to see me or hear me. That's why I'm whispering. Wanna ditch?" he asked. I let out a sigh of relief.
"God yes," I whispered. He suddenly became visible. Picking me up bridal style, he silenly lifted me off the ground and we flew away without Prince Gumwad seeing.
