Days been moving past pretty much fast and l a, growing closer to the opening of schools for the end of summer break that mean Grayson and Elena will be coming back home.
But today guess who's going to nail am interview.
"Come give a mummy a good wishes kiss." I call Kayla who ran in the room to shower me with kisses.
"All the best. And don't worry you still look good l didn't remove a hair out."
"Thank you baby." I smile.
"One final touch though."
"What is that." I ask her confused.
"One last kiss from me." She grins
What would l do if l didn't have this baby with me, grabbing all the necessities we left the room. On my way I dropped her at Alices work place as my l make my way for the interview. She was the one who introduced me to her friend who told me to come for an interview to see if l fit the position.
Like any normal being would do l was a bag of nerves wish l had someone to tell me to calm down you going to nail this interview after all it's yours.
She didn't look intimidating but hey looks can be deceiving.
CHRIS' POV
OH hey.
You missed me l know and probably been wondering what the heck been going on in my life, let me break it down for you.
I miss her
I need her
I don't know if shes still waiting for me after taking all this time to realise l need her.
To make matters worse my mom won't stop bragging to me about the lovely dates she's been having with Kayla and Kira, worse more Camila has joined in here and there and she makes my life a living hell by reminding me of the mistake l am making.
My gang been boo'd up even on calls so no funny missions which l am proud of cause l lead by example l feel so good cause accomplished something. What l can't wrap my head is about who Lucas is dating cause it's been a year and l still haven't met his It girl have inky heard about her. Time will come and he will tell me right. I pray so.
I am sick and tired of having to hope and wish to see her sitting at the bleachers when l have a match but l don't see her. Getting tired of chasing girls who throw themselves to me. It's so exhausting.
I feel so empty.
My mom told me that she was going to see Kira and Kayla , But was going to stay with Kayla whilst Kira is on her job interview which l wish she gets. Arriving at my moms office, she closed the door in my face imagine a mother who does that.
"I just want to say hie mom and l will leave before she even knows l am here." I explain through the door.
"She didn't say she wants to see you. And do you know what could happen if l let you see her what if Kira finds out do you know what could happen to our relationship l am not willing to risk that as yet or never." She shouts at me.
"Mom l told you l am waiting to find the right time to get her back. Now can l please see Kayla."
"She's not getting any older, she's still as beautiful as you left her or more so don't think she doesn't have the right to receive attention she gets from other men." She rubs salt in my wound.
"Mom please. "
"Kayla wanna See Chris. If you don't want it's okay." I hear my mom's reluctant voice.
"He's here." l hear her voice.
The door is suddenly opened and l fall face first on the floor, damn that hurt , ouch.
"Why you on the floor." Kayla asks
"Was practicing how to hug you when l see you." I hesitantly smile
"I am here now."
I kneel to give her a hug been dying to do this for a very long time,
"I missed you." I tell her
"Me too. When are you coming back."
"Why do you ask that." I cock an eyebrow.
"Cause mommy says Chris is just busy, he will come back to us again." She plainly states
"Oh yes. I am coming soon. Just give me more time."
"Promise," she shows her pinky promise
"Promise." I seal the deal" For now do a favour for me princess,"
"Depends."
"Take care of mommy for me. Make sure you don't get in trouble okay. No one to replace me at all and make her happy. Think you can do that." I ask
"I can try. Just come back soon."
"I will princess l will gimme a few more days. Don't tell mommy you saw me okay. I want to surprise her. Think you can keep that promise."
She nods
"She's on her way up Chris."
It was already time to say good bye to Kayla for now and l give her a single forehead kiss before l left the room to hide where l can see her after all this time l have been away from her. Kayla runs to Kira the moment she saw her.
"Time to do our victory dance?" Kayla asks
"Which one you want." Kira says in a thoughtful gesture
"The we made it dance victory." Kayla answers
"You know it Monkey."
I admire the scene infront of me, maybe if l wasn't a dick it could have been all three of us celebrating that Kira for her dream job. But not now l couldn't and this means l gotta do this fast. I need to get her back fast.
Taking one last glance at her smiling face and Kayla's as well l give my mom one last glance before l left the scene with one thought in mind.
I am getting you back baby.
