I didn't need time to digest the fuck he just called me,
"Are you implying l am a gold digger," I confirm

No words can describe the amount of anger that was pumping in me right l swear if anger had a fuse to measure l would blow up a thousand of them. Trying to calm myself
"Kayla baby. Go play with the other kids." I tell her and she quickly obeyed
When Kayla was out of sight l didn't want to kick him where the sun don't shine so that he thinks l am weak l aim for his weak point. Balling a hands into a fist l use all the anger in me to punch the living lights out of him. I think l broke something on his face and k shake my hand to remove the pain that was there.
And l finally kicked him where the sun does not shine and left him reading in pain in the floor. Never call me a gold digger especially when all l ever liked in him was his personality. Getting in the locker room l change into scrubs and the kids who were there today managed to get a genuine smile out of me.
Everything that occurred had totally slipped my mind till miss boss lady called me
"I would like to apologize for what happened earlier it has been taken off. "
"Thank you."
She was a woman of little words and with that l left not caring to change my scrubs l call Kayla to get on my way to pick Chris. Hope l am not too late but it's just five l mean they sometimes finish at six.
When l parked the car in the parking lot he was talking to his gang of friends before he made his way to the car and l had changed seats to the passenger seat.
He decided to seat back seat with Kayla ,who was greeted with a kiss which made Kayla giggle. Noticing the arrangement
"Who's driving then."
"Mommy is." He made himself comfortable talking to Kayla and l switch the seats and drive us home well his place , you the the point.
Arriving he unbuckled Kayla who rushed inside leaving Chris and l laughing.
"Good evening to you too." I say
"Good evening it is." He rocked his eyes on me. "How come people didn't warn me you would look this damn attractive in just scrubs.
I shake my head laughing at how he always makes the atmosphere quickly comfortable and he will never stop with those sexual innuendos.
Swaying my hips l prepared a simple dish for dinner whilst the two where playing COD.
"Dinner is ready." I shout coming from changing into his huge ass hoodie and a pair of shorts.
"Yesss." Kayla screams running to the table.
Whilst l was giving them their plates, and when l,was dishing for Kayla l could feel Chris' gaze on me and it didn't feel that good.
"What happened to your hand." He asks all that playful Chris totally gone, he was dropping possessiveness and anger
.
"It was taken care off." I assure him but it wasn't enough for him cause he kept looking at me expecting a different answer p.
"Some colleague at work called me a gold digger ." I state eating my food.
He didn't say anything else and we ate dinner in silence, even Kayla didn't even know how to break the silence. I really don't have to feel,this way but l was already feeling sorry for the punches that were coming his way.
Poor Joe.
And the rest of the night went off like that and the last thing l wanted was for him to vent the anger out on me so l gave him space to cool down. But he didn't forget to spoon me in his arms in bed which made me not complain about his silence further.
When l woke up happy my lesson start late but my smile quickly alters as he was not on the bed and when l went down l was greeted by breakfast on the table with a note.

My car keys were on top he went through all that trouble to do this for me. I eat the breakfast , did some studying and got ready to go to school and l arrived around lunch time. Spotting them on the table, l peck Chris in greeting and greet everyone else.
He was a lot cooler today at least thank God.
"Miss me much." I ask him
"You have no idea." He kisses my cheek and l smile.
And l enjoyed lunch with everyone which had El having a debate with every one sometimes l just don't get how she's able to withstand all at once. When we were now parting ways to go to class everyone's worst moment.
"Thank you for the breakfast." I tell him
"Anything for you." He pecks me once again and leaves for his lessons when he was satisfied that l was well settled in my class.
Time to signal lessons were over came , found Chris at my car, he told me good bye before driving off to work after picking Kayla up. Drive to his house and eat dinner cooked by him.
This became our daily routine, exchange on who's dropping Kayla off at school every morning and then on weekends we would go to the park have a picnic or spend whole day in pajamas just chilling at home before bathing later in the day.
There were days or sometimes weeks l spent at my old Apartment which had El over the moon everytime l came back. Chris used to hate those days cause he wanted me to be with him.
Our relationship was getting better by the day and yes we did have our little fights but they only made us stronger. Today was one of those weekends we woke up to chilly weather, and refused to leave the bed perfectly knowing Kayla would come join the party only allowed if she allows the tickle monsters to have their way first.
"Morning," Chris greets me with his face buried in my neck
"Good morning." I say back.
Shifting to sit l adjust myself in his arms as well before he cleared his throat and said
"I have been wanting to ask this for a very long time."
"What is it." I turn to face him.
"Will you please move in with Kayla permanently."
