Bade oneshots A-Z

Babysitting

"Beck" jade called after they left class to go to lunch

"What's up?" He asked as he turned around

"Do you want to come over after school today" she asked

"Sure, how come"

"What we can't just hang out. You need a reason to spend time with me?" She scowled

"No, of course not it's just that when we spend time we always go to my RV. We never go to your house, I love spending time with you" he said as he quickly kissed her cheek

"Good. My mom said something to me this morning about her staying late at work or going out or something like that. I didn't listen all I know is that I have to go pick jack up from school and then I'm stuck with him" she explained

Jack was jades 7 year old brother who she didn't like very much. He was always the favorite child because he didn't have any interest in theatre or performing yet. They were pretty much polar opposites. Jade was loud and demanding most of the time,  jack was quiet and only loud when he got too excited. Jade was scary, jack was nice. Jade didn't have many friends because he scared so many people, jack didn't have many friends cause he was so shy

Beck had never met him before. He knew she had a brother because she always complained about him and how annoying he was but he had never actually seen him because the only time he was at her house was to pick her up for school in the morning

"So after school you need me to drive to his school to get him and then help you babysit him?" Beck questioned

"Yes. Now let's go eat lunch" she replied grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the asphalt cafe

"So how long is your mom out till?" Beck asked while they were in the car driving to the elementary school down the street

"I'm not sure, she'll probably be home before midnight, or at least I hope" she replied looking out the window just as they pulled up to the school

"Do we have to go find in and find  him or will he be waiting?" He asked as he parked the car

"Probably waiting"

Sure enough, there was jack sitting outside the school waiting patiently reading a book and eating carrots.

Jade leaned over to the drivers side and hit the horn button a few times before yelling out the window for him to get in

"Hi" jack said as he threw his backpack into the backseat then got in himself

"Put your seatbelt on" she said not turning around

"Hi jack, I'm beck, jades boyfriend. How was your day?" Beck asked as he turned around so he could see him. Jack had the same piercing blue eyes as jade and longish black hair(not as long as becks but kinda mid neck length) and he wearing a blue flannel and black jeans.

" it was good" he replied quickly.

"Did you learn anything new?"

"Beck would you just hurry up and drive so we can get this over with"

"Wait, i will soon just hold on. So did you learn anything new?" He asked again

" not really just a little in math. But I did start a new book I got from the library!" He said while holding up the book and sounding more excited now

" sounds like fun" he said grinning "you should tell me about the book when we get home" he would've loved to hear about it now but jade was shooting daggers at him with her eyes so he figured it would be best to just drive
