Zoo

"Daddy? I'm bored" Scarlett Oliver announced, climbing into becks lap where he was sitting on the couch

Scarlett was three almost four and the daughter of beck and jade. They had gotten married when they were 20 and had Scarlett when they were both 24. She looked just like jade with the brown hair, pale skin, and blue eyes but she had the softest personality just like beck

It was an early Saturday morning in their house and the only ones awake were beck and Scarlett

"Let's see what we can do about that" he proposed, helping her up to sit properly

"We could go swimming?"
"Too cold"

"We could go for lunch?"
"I said I'm bored not hungry daddy. You're silly!"

"I am silly, how about a movie"
"Too dark, and mommy always picks a scary one"

"You could help me work on the car engine? You had fun doing that last time"

"But mommy got mad that I got my dress all dirty"

"Oh yeah.. well how about the zoo?"
"Yeah!"

"Ok go wake up mommy and see if she wants to come with us" he said while picking her up and putting her back on the floor

Scarlett ran quickly down the long hallway towards their room at the very end. She burst open the door and managed to climb onto their giant bed

"Mommy mommy mommy mommy!!!" She yelled while bouncing around the bed and on top of jade

Jade was a heavy sleeper when it came to noises but when she was being jumped on by a screaming bouncing child? that could wake anyone up

"What baby?" She asked finally waking up and pulling Scarlett down to sit down next to her to get her to stop jumping

"Daddy and I are going to the zoo today and we want you to come so please please please will you come to the zoo with us?" She said all in one breath quickly and already begging, clasping her hands together and giving her the best puppy dog eyes she could muster

"Yeah please?" Beck asked, putting his face right next to Scarlett's and doing the same which made Scarlett giggle a bit

Scarlett has definitely gotten her begging skills from beck and jade couldn't say no to either one of them let alone both of them put together

"Oh fine. But you're getting her dressed and making breakfast" she said giving beck a pointed look

"I can do that" he assured her leaning over to give her a kiss before grabbing Scarlett and taking her to the kitchen

"Pancakes?" He asked putting her down on a chair to watch him cook

"Yeah!"

After beck had cooked enough pancakes for all of them he made jades coffee and waited for it to brew. While he waited he grabbed a plate for Scarlett and placed it down in front of her with a fork and she started eating

Once her coffee was done he left Scarlett to eat and took jade breakfast in bed. She was sitting in bed still on her phone

"Thanks babe" she thanked "did you get her dressed yet?"

"No she's still eating but I will right after" he called over his shoulder

"You done?" He asked Scarlett who had syrup down her face

"Yep!"

He grabbed her and a washcloth to try to wash her face, then he walked down to her room to pick out her clothes for the day

"You want this?" He asked holding out a black skirt and leggings with a red and black plaid

"Yeah" she giggled reaching out her hands

He took her back to their room where jade was already dressed and doing her makeup wearing a black skirt

"We're matching!" Scarlett pointed out

"Yeah isn't that fun" she replied while trying to concentrate

"Let's go get you into the car" he suggested guiding her out

After they all got there beck went around he car to grab her out. Once she was on the ground he grabbed one of her hands and jade grabbed the other

"You wanna go see the lions eat another animal first?" Jade Asked looking down at her

"Jade!" Beck scolded "she's 3"

"I just wanna see a panda" she said slightly frightened

"Fine."

They grabbed a map and followed the path to the pandas first

"Look mommy!" Scarlett yelled pointing at a few pandas lying on the ground eating bamboo together

"Wow."

Jade was bored because pandas really didn't do much so instead beck bent down to Scarlett's level and talked to her

"Are pandas your favorite?" He asked her watching her gaze

"Yeah they're so cute!"

"So are you" he admitted, giving her a kiss on her cheek which made her smile

Jade huffed

Eventually Scarlett got bored because kids don't have good attention spans

"Can we see giraffes now?" She asked tugging on becks sleeve

"Sure princess" he grabbed her hand again and jade did the same

"I'm tired" Scarlett announced stopping suddenly

Beck walked back to where she was and swooped down and out her on his shoulders which made her laugh again. The sight of her husband and her daughter laughing and smiling together even made jade smile. She was in a Better mood now so she took becks hand that was outstretched to her

They all enjoyed themselves for the rest of the day at the zoo. They had seen cheetahs and monkeys and Scarlett's second favorite animals which were dolphins much to jades dismay

They were standing at the lions because Scarlett finally decided she wanted to see them. She was still on becks shoulders and beck and jade were still hand in hand

"I love our little family" beck murmured into jades ear while Scarlett was pointing at the lions

"Me too" she smiled

"I love you so much you know that?" He asked giving her a quick kiss

"I know"

I updated again because I was so excited but now it's over. I figured this would be a nice way to tie things up with their happy little ending
