Jealous

When beck pulled up on Thursday morning to pick up jade at the usual time like he so often did he saw a sight he never thought he'd ever see

Jade was talking to someone new. It was a boy who looked to be around their age maybe a little younger but he had shaggy almost curly dirty blond hair and blue eyes that were similar to jades but not nearly as striking. This was definitely different because usually when she met someone new they'd be threatened or scared off but not only was she not threatening him, she was laughing. with him, not at him

Eventually jade noticed beck waiting patiently in the truck so grabbed her gears of war shoulder bag and jumped up so she could slip her phone in her pocket. Then she bent down to whisper something in the boys ear then stood up, both grinning

"Bye, I'll see you after school!" She yelled as she waved to the mystery boy and hurried towards the car

"So" beck started after they had been driving for a minute "who was that?"

"Oh that was Chris" she replied very nonchalantly

"Why'd you tell him you'd see him after school? I thought you were coming round my place today "

Beck felt a little bit hurt since they always hung out and jade never really spent time with anyone else, other than cat of course but she never usually lasted more than two hours alone with her

"We always hang out, and you always get to hang out with stupid Vega so why can't I hang out with him"

Beck didn't have a good enough reason to fight against jade. He decided not to mention the whispering and smiling at all since he knew it would just fuel a new fight so he rest of the car ride was silent

School went by very quickly and beck had forgotten all about Chris since he and jade were inseparable in school that day. It was only when he started to drive towards his house that jade reminded him to drop her at her own house instead

"You're not really hanging out with him are you?" He asked turning to face her once they'd arrived and he parked

"Yeah, I am. I told you this morning you hang out with Vega so I'm hanging out with Chris! He's a pretty cool guy"

Beck was getting angry now but he kept his cool. Who knows maybe this guy just moved in and she was showing him around or something. Nah, who was he kidding jade never talked to new people or offered help but he still let this one slide, it was probably just a one time thing

"Ok bye babe I'll text you later" he simply replied while placing a kiss on her cheek

As he watched jade leave his truck he was still so confused because not only was she getting along with a stranger but she had also called him "a pretty cool guy". She wouldn't even call Andre a pretty cool guy and they had been friends for almost four years. Pushing it out of his mind he still kept thinking "it's no big deal, it's like when you watch movies with tori, it's a one time thing"

It was not a one time thing

For the next few weeks whenever he pulled up to her house at 7:30 to pick her they were both sitting outside on her front steps talking and laughing. Then when he dropped her off after school he was always waiting, he never spoke to beck or even acknowledged his presence he just sat there. Beck was starting to think he never left her porch

He even showed up at their school sometimes during lunch and surprised her while she was with everyone else. Chris never cat with them he and jade always went somewhere to eat lunch together and beck wasn't happy

It was only a month after he appeared when he finally snapped

jade had been lying on becks couch with him for what felt like the first time in a year when her phone buzzed and she quickly read it then jumped up and grabbed her purse before hurrying towards the RV door

"Where ya going" beck called from he couch where he remained

"I'm going to nozus with Chris" she explained

"Why are you always with him? This is the first time in almost a month where we've hung out" he said close to yelling and starting a fight

Luckily jade diffused the situation quickly

"Awww is mr perfect jealous of the neighbor boy" she teased while walking back to him and fixing the edges of his flannel where the buttons were

Surely he wasn't jealous there's no way beck Oliver could get jealous. It was like being jump scared, not possible

"No I just feel like you're spending all your time with your new little crush and not with me and we really need to hang out for real without interruptions more" he explained while rambling

She scoffed at this

"So you're jealous" jade stated with her usual tone again

"No I- I just - i fe-"

"He's not my new little crush beck don't worry" she cut him off

"He's my cousin" she said placing a kiss on a very stunned becks lips "I'm not into him. That would be like Sinjin level weird. Plus you know I'd never willingly make a new friend"

"Wait what did you whisper in his ear then?!" He called out to her after a minute of sitting there

"That you're my boyfriend and that I wanted revenge on you for always making me jealous" she called as she walked out and threw her purse over her shoulder again

"And it worked" she added turning back to fake smile at him before continuing towards her car

It really had worked. On one hand beck was relieved but he also felt a mixture of guilt and gullibility. At least he knew he wouldn't have to worry anymore but he vowed to never get jealous again and it worked. Until moose came along

BAM! there isn't many jealous beck stories so here's one that I thought of at two am a week ago
