nini tapped away on her phone as she waited for the car to come to a stop at the airport.
she couldn't stop thinking about the curly-haired boy that she was bound to see when she returned to her little town.
once she was arrived, she took a deep breath and got out with ej helping her with her luggage, pushing through the cameras once again to go into the airport.
ej notices how nervous she is and squeezes her hand in reassurance.
once they arrive at the gate, he sighs sadly
"three months without seeing you." he frowns
"what an amazing vacation." nini smirks, causing him to gasp dramatically
she giggles as he wraps his arms around her.
"facetime everyday?" she asks
he nods "you know it."
he gives her a sweet and gentle kiss and she checks the time when they pull away
"i should go." nini says as she takes her suitcases and adjusts her backpack
"love you." he smiles as he watches her walk away
nini turns around "me too."
she takes a deep breath as she turns back and goes to the security.
"here goes nothing."

"okay what's up?" ricky questions as he closes his biology textbook
"what do you mean?" big red says nervously, looking at the others
"all of the whispering and weird looks?" ricky asks "did i put my shirt on backwards again?" he groans as he looks down at his chest
"uh-no." carlos says examining him
"then what?" ricky looks between all of his friends and they don't say anything for a moment
"are you working tonight?" seb asks, trying to divert the subject that they definitely don't know how to explain to him.
ricky nods "yeah. but is it okay if i get there earlier? my mom's back in town. this time she brought todd." he rolls his eyes
"we're so sorry ricky." ashlyn frowns as she puts her hand on his shoulder for comfort
the boy shrugs his shoulders "whatever. not like it could get any worse."
suddenly, gina starts coughing after drinking her apple juice and kourtney pats her back while everyone asks if she's okay
"i'm good. just went down the wrong tube." gina says sheepishly after gaining her breath
the bell rings and everyone gets up from the lunch table, big red walking off with ricky to their biology class
