Mark's POV
I can't explain the happiness building inside me. She really said yes!
"You're mine now right?" paniniguro ko pa at masaya naman siyang tumango sa akin. I chuckled. "I love you, Shane" malambing na sabi ko sa kanya.
Ngumiti naman siya sakin. "I love you too, Mark."
The crew around us are cheering and clapping their hands while congratulating us. Bigla namang namula ang mukha ni Shane ng mapagtanto na hindi lang kaming dalawa ang nandito kaya naman natawa ako ng kaunti.
"Don't laugh" sambit inakpan ang namumulang mukha.
"Hey... Baby it's okay... Ayos lang na kiligin long as ako ang nagpapakilig sayo" bigla naman siyang natigil at tumingin na sa akin ng may pagtataka ang mga mata.
"Baby?" tanong po niya.
"Yes... Baby. Bakit? May mali ba sa sinabi ko?" tanong ko pa at ngumiti sa kanya.
"W-wala naman. It just feels weird. Have you ever called me baby before? Si kuya? Tinatawag niya ba akong Baby dati? I remember he and Dad always call me princess." sambit pa niya na parang nag-iisip.
"Ngayon lang kita tinawag na baby. I don't know kung minsan tinatawag ka ni Justine ng baby. Pero madalas na tawag niya sayo ay princess or little sis."
"Hmmm" sambit nalang niya. "That's just weird. I feel like meron ng tumatawag sakin ng ganun dati? What is this? A deja vu?" mahinang sambit niya sapat para marinig ko.
Doon lang nagising ang diwa ko. Gino used to call her Baby or Babe back in the days. False move! "Uhmmm... is that so? Then let's not use an endearment" Sambit ko nalang.
"It's not the fact that I don't like it. It just felt weird for some reason."
"Shane, it's okay. Besides I prefer calling you by your name. Mas masarap banggitin ang panagalan mo kesa sa iba't ibang mga endearment na yan."
Ngumiti nalang naman na siya sa akin. "Yeah... hearing you say my name is really nice" sabi nalang niya.
We just finished our lunch and it's getting dark. We em and went to the Ayala Triangle Garden as our last place to go on our date.
Shane keeps looking at the necklace that I gave her. And that made me smile...
"Are you shock at my proposal?" I ask out of the blue.
She then look at me and giggle. "Not that shock but I really did not expect this."
It's really getting dark. And the Ayala Triangle Garden is really a great place to take her.
When we finally arrived I immediately went out of the car to open the door for her. "What a gentleman" pabirong sambit nito.
Natawa nalang ako at hinawakan ang kamay niya.
We walked under the lights of the tree and enjoy the view... This is indeed a great day to spend with the love of my life. I then remembered Serenity. She would love this.
"Serenity would love this. We should bring her with us next time." I said and she just nod. "But for the main time I'll enjoy the moment where it's just the two of us."
"I would love that. But Serenity might be waiting for us" sambit niya.
I just smiled and took my phone. "Tatawagan ko lang si Justine para ipasundo muna si Serenity"
"Sure" sambit niya at naupo muna sa isang bench habang ako ay tinawagan si Justine.
