everyone was eating breakfast getting ready to leave, mia ordered herself the royal waffle and started eating. she wasn't happy to leave since she loved the experience she had in vancouver, as much as she missed being home, she was glad she came to this trip.

hector: can i see the itinerary
mia: yeah

mia looked over the itinerary once more and handed it to hector.

day 3;
wake up at 8am
be downstairs at 9am
eat breakfast at le petit belge at 9:15am
arrive to the airport at 10am
plane boards at 3pm
arrive to ottawa at 8:30pm

mia sighed realizing she left her car in the parking lot and would have to end up driving herself, plane rides weren't tiring, she just preferred sleeping. they finished eating and got on the bus, next stop, the airport. mia rested her head against her pillow and went on her phone, she saw texts from her brothers and samy but she brushed it off.

mia walked through airport security and was waiting for the plane to board, she rested her head on hectors lap as he ran his fingers through her hair.

hector: you're so pretty
mia: thank you
hector: i'm staying over with you
mia: ugh, fans these days
hector: i hate you
mia: we both know you don't
hector: you seem so tired
mia: well, last night, we fell asleep at 4
hector: what were you guys doing
mia: ohh nothing
hector: tell me
mia: well, alessya and julia were making tiktoks and drinking a bit while i was making tiktoks as well and getting high
hector: i thought you stopped
mia: i did, i just felt sad for some reason so i got high
hector: stoners these days
mia: hush
hector: let's talk prom
mia: it's next week, we can worry about that on the weekend
hector: julias birthday is also next week
mia: yes i know
hector: what are you getting her
mia: it's a secret
mr hernandez: time to go guys

everyone got on the airplane and fastened their seatbelts, mia sat down and mattia sat next to her. mia was confused then mattia showed her his ticket, she rolled her eyes and saw hector was far from him and next to lauren.

mattia: hi gorgeous
mia: none of that
mattia: look at those two, so cute right
mia: not funny mattia
mattia: yeah it's not funny but it's true
mia: no it's not, what are you talking about
mattia: oh nothing
mia: what are you not telling me mattia
mattia: nothing, there's nothing
mia: mattia, tell me
mattia: tell you what, that hector-
kai: i'm your new airplane buddy
mia: switch with mattia, i can't stand him
kai: ok, move-
mattia: i'm not moving
kai: oh well, good night guys
mia: no kai- whatever

mia knew mattia was hiding something but she didn't bother asking him since she knew he wouldn't give in. mattia rested his head on mias shoulder but she pushed him off, he put his head back again and mia looked at him.

mia: what's the secret about hector and lauren
mattia: nothing
mia: seriously mattia, tell me. if someone knew something about you, i'd tell you
mattia: i wish i could tell you but i can't
mia: mattia please
mattia: i'm sorry mia

mia sighed and put both airpods in, she looked over at hector seeing them laughing and smiling at each other. lauren grazed her thumb against hectors cheek and mia looked away, she looked outside the window, feeling tears streaming down her face.

mia woke up to mattia shaking her, she opened her eyes and mattia stared at her.
