phoenix sighed as he read over his notes, ..while he did have good argument, ..their was still the green blackmail letter in question, when everyone was called into courthouse, phoenix got a good look at the guy, he had white hair, wore a dark green dress shirt with a brown lined waist coat, white tie, black pants and dress shoes, but what caught his attention was his wired mask around his eyes

"..can the guy even see with those fucking things on?"

the judge then banged his gavel down

'Court is now in session for the trial of Mr. Ron DeLite.'

phoenix nodded

'the defense is ready your honer'

however, the other guy stayed quite, the judge looked at him, ..slightly confused

'What about the prosecution? Are you prepared to-'

'..What a stupid question!'

he suddenly said, phoenix glared at him as the judge was very taken aback

'Wh-What did you say!'

'Fine. Let me ask you then, Your Honor. Are YOU ready? Are you ready to pass judgement?'

he asked, phoenix blinked at the guy as he crossed his arms

"what the fuck is happening right now, why are all these fucking prosecutors wack as shit?!"

'Wh...! N-No, I... I'm not! I will pass judgement after I hear arguments from both sides.'

he explained, the guy shrugged

'Well, if you're not ready yourself, you shouldn't expect others to be. That's a rule to live by.'

the judge just changed the subject

'...Um, wh-who are you?'

'I am Godot. Legendary prosecutor. I've never lost a case.'

phoenix eyed him up and down, the judge nodded, acknowledging that

'Yes, your reputation precedes you. What kind of cases have you dealt with so far?'

he asked, the guy actually laughed

'Ha...! None, I've never prosecuted a case before.'

'N-Never? But you said you've never lost before.'

the judge pointed out, however, godot retorted this

'...Exactly. I've never lost. I've never won before either.'

he said shrugging, phoenix glared at him

"their's a difference dumbass!"

'Quite arrogant for a beginner, aren't you?'

the judge said, not pleased with his attitude

'Even the mightest of Redwoods begin their lives as mere saplings'

'Yes, but... A mask? In a court of law?'

the judge said, looking just as confused as phoenix was about the mask around his eyes as well

'Ha...! Don't you know anything? No matter the man, we all wear masks... Either on our faces or ever our hearts'

godot then suddenly eyed phoenix, though he couldn't see it, ..he could feel the glaring coming off him

'So we finally meet... Mr. Phoenix Trite!'

'wright dumbass, phoenix wright!'

phoenix corrected, growling his teeth, godot just spoke normally to him, but phoenix could feel the glaring off of him, ..this guy hated him, ..and though phoenix didn't know why, ..he didn't really care
