WOW. I haven't updated in a WHILE. I'm so sorry my lovelies, I promise I won't do that to you guys ever again- especially with all the support you've given me. I've actually been working on a Haikyuu captains fic during the break I had- but expect updates from now on. I love you guys!

You felt yourself cringe at the sound of Oikawa's voice-..
" Aw- (y/n) Come on, don't make that face.. " Oikawa hummed out, leaning down to your height.
" It's really going to give you wrinkles- " He cheekily added in.
You held back the boiling desire to break his pretty boy nose.
" I'm sorry (y/n) " Iwaizumi mumbled out, pinching the bridge of his nose as he spoke.
" Ah- " Oikawa finally looked over at who you brought- " And who is this bedhead bozo? " He questioned
" Who are you calling bedhead bozo milk bread boy- " Kuroo barked back,
The two glared at each other like idiots- both trying to intimidate the other... however to everyone else it just looked like Oikawa and Kuroo puffing their chests out like birds- with their eyes squinted and their hands on their hips..
(y/n) and Iwaizumi didn't know if they should laugh- or cringe..
" Anyways.. " Iwaizumi finally mumbled out, turning towards you. " I-.. the skirt- I wouldn't expect you to wear something like that.. " He instantly averted his gaze the moment he started speaking, his hand rubbing the back of his neck.
You didn't really know how to take his words- ' Is he.. insulting me? ' you questioned.
" Ah- really? " you looked down at the material, fiddling the bottom of your skirt in between your fingers. You actually really liked the dress-.. " Sorry to disappoint? "
" Ah! No, " Iwaizumi instantly waved his hands up defensively, grabbing your wrist. " I actually really like the dress-. " He rambled out, looking down at you in a slight panic.
You couldn't help but chuckle at his panic puppy expression- he was seemed so worried at the thought of you not knowing that he truly liked it on you.
However- cute moments like that don't last when you have milk boy and city cat up your asses. Before you could enjoy the moment, Kuroo and Oikawa were puffing their chests up at Iwaizumi..
" Jesus christ. " Iwaizumi groaned out, letting go of your wrist.
" Alrighty, " You rested your hands on your hips before turning to the boys. " this date is going to work on my terms. got it? "
Oikawa rose his brow slightly at your words- it clearly intrigued him.. but he kept silent.
" We're going to go to volunteer! " You stated, pulling out the badges out from your bag.
" Huh- " Kuroo gawked out- " I thought this was a double date.. "
" Well it is- but! I have three- " you cringed before you finished the sentence " Amazingly strong men in front of me- and the animal shelter needs more volunteers today.. "
After a bit of Oikawa whining that this wasn't considered an actual double date- you convinced the boys to volunteer with you

You swung the pet shelters door open excitedly- heading straight to the back since you knew the staff well.
" Oikawa- C'mere! I want to show you something. " You instinctively grabbed his forearm and dragged him to kennels.
" Jeez cutie- why are you in such a rush, I'm not going no where! " He yelped out whilst he go dragged down the hall.
You decided to ignore that pet name he had suddenly given you- " Look, he looks just like you.. I noticed him a couple days ago.. but no one has been willing to adopt him. " you cooed out, pulling a small pomeranian out from its kennel.
It took Oikawa a second- he just blankly stared at the dog in awe before completely breaking down.
Oikawa Tooru's #1 weakness? puppies.
You've never seen Oikawa break down fangirling over anything before(besides Iwa-chan), but he broke down- instantly grabbing the dog from your grasps as if it was his literal child. In all honesty, you couldn't help but smile at the sight of this six foot tall egotistical man break down at the sight of a small puppy.
" (y/n) Come here! " Oikawa called out, instantly tugging you onto him by your arm. It was such a swift motion that you didn't have time to react. Before you knew it, you were shoved up against Oikawa's chest- he held the camera up taking a picture of him holding the puppy up, your flustered state also in the frame.
" Goshdarnit Toor- " You paused before you could finish your sentence- getting off of Oikawa.
" Ah? " Oikawa tilted his head with a cheeky grin, " Were you about to say what I think you were going to say cutie... " he purred out.
" In. Your. dreams. "
The day continued on with Oikawa's flirty remarks, and Iwaizumi and kuroo getting to know eachother better.. Since Oikawa wouldn't let them get close to you whatsoever.

(Timeskip back to your house after the double date)
You finally got to lay down with Cooper- scrolling through instagram one last time before you headed off to bed.. just as you were about to turn off your phone- you noticed Oikawa had posted something.
" I swear if its another milk bread post.. " you grumbled to yourself, as you clicked on it.
" I adopted a dog today!.. "
Your gaze softened at the sight of the picture he posted. It was the photo of you, him, and the lil' pomeranian.
huh.. I guess Oikawa Tooru isn't that bad..
