Hi guys, school isn't going great. No, it's completely fucked. This doesn't work, and now I have even less time to write. Here's the chapter.

I walked into an elevator, the walls were a nice wood, and the floor a marble. I pressed the top button, the elevator didn't move at first, then it beeped, and inched its way up. The elevator slowed and chimed, and the door opened right into Balalaikas office, she sat at her desk, which was covered, neatly in papers. She blew out some smoke and put out the remains of her cigar. "I have your first assignment. Get some more experience in you.". "Sacha, as you know leads her own squad. Your job is to protect a transport ship which is passing through some shady waters. Worst that could happen is some pirates, but you'll get some experience either way.". "There will be a car for you tomorrow morning at six. Be ready for it.". I started to walk back to the elevator, before Balalaika spoke up again. "Oh, Sacha wanted to take you shopping for some better stuff for the rest of today. She said she'd wait at the entrance for you.". I nodded and waved goodbye before getting back in the elevator. I pressed the main floor button and the doors closed. The elevator shook and lowered. The doors opened and the elevator chimed. I was greeted by Sacha, who grabbed me and gave me a noogie. "C'mon kiddo, let's get you some stuff. Balalaika gave you some money too." She handed me a wallet, I opened it to see a large sum of Rubles. "Car should be here soon." I had just noticed, she wasn't wearing her large armour like she had when I met her, but a jean jacket. I took in her details more, she stood at maybe seven feet tall, and had short brown hair, and wore a cross around her neck. She was large, but it was obviously all muscle, she could most likely lift a car. "Hey kiddo, the cars here.". She got in the front of the car and I got into the back. I dozed off into my thoughts again.

A lil timeskip by MC dozing off in thought.

I watched as the run down buildings became more and more run down the farther we went down the street, eventually we crossed a bridge, and what was buildings turned to trees. We drove for I don't know how long. The trees turned to buildings, to trees again, over and over, the trees turned to plains, then trees again. Eventually we entered buildings, ad the buildings started to get taller and taller, eventually we stopped, and Sacha turned to the back and called, "Wer her kiddo!". We both got out of the car and the driver nodded, and drove off. "Alright kiddo, let's do some shopping.". Sachas thick Russian accent made her sound serious when she needed too, but her kind and fun nature overridden that when she was in the mood. Her serious, but happy nature could only spread to the people around her, perhaps why Balalaika made her such an important leader. Her general nature could even put a smile on my face. We were in Bangkok, the capital, we walked around for a long time, sometimes buying thing, other times walking out with nothing. We found stores from clothes to food. Interesting to try some food I hadn't before. Eventually our bags overwhelmed us, and we couldn't carry anymore.

We stopped at a street corner to rest. "Hey kiddo, i'm going to call the driver and go to the bathroom real quick. Watch the bags ok?". I nodded and sat down at a bench, she put down her bags and walked into a little general store. I rustled through some of my bags and found one of the books I had bought. I opened it, it still having the stiff spined, never opened. I read for some time and people passed by. I would look up every page or so. I noticed a person stopped in front of me without looking up. No people were passing by. He screamed in my face, something I couldn't understand. It was one thing over and over again, and I continued to ignore him. He got angrier and angrier, and I had stopped reading at this point, as his red face was more entertaining at this point. He pulled a knife from his jacket and pointed it at me, and I finally looked up. He noticed this and tried to swing at me, I swatted away the knife with my book and pulled my Glock from my jacket by its slide, and pistol whipped him upwards in the jaw. It was obviously hard enough, because he fell to the ground and held his jaw. I heard two people clapping and against the wall where Sacha and Petrov, the person who drove us before. Petrov was an middle aged man with black hair, and wore a tracksuit and a flat cap. Sacha gave me a smirk, "Was that entertaining?". I smirked back at her, "Sure was.". She let out a chuckle and grabbed her bags and brought them to the trunk of the car. We both got in and started our trip back to base.

Another driving time skip brought to you by MC dozing off

We made it back to the Hotel and carried our stuff to our rooms. We entered the elevator and Sacha got off first, as she was on the floor below mine. I threw of all my clothes and jumped in the shower, today had been a long day, but tomorrow would be longer. Once out of the shower, I inspected my gear. Disassembling my FAL and cleaning it from top to bottom. Pulling out my Glock from my jacket and inspecting it. It had lots of scratches on the slide in a swirling pattern. When I was bored, I would engrave into the Glock. I had lots of time on my hands, so there was nothing more to do. I've had this thing for about two years already, but I haven't trained with it all that much, other than training with Revy. I heard that the hotel had an indoor range, it was only eight so why not? I pulled out one more mag from my gun bag, and filled it with 9mm. I grabbed my keys, and walked out my room. Down the hallway, on the wall was a full map of the place. Looking, the basement had the range and some recreational things inside. I called the elevator and descended down into the basement, I hadn't been down here before. Inside was a room filled with chairs some large TV's and two pool tables. One glass door looked like it had workout equipment inside. Another was marked "RANGE" in large black letters. I pushed open the door, and was greeted by a long row of range alleys and a table with stacks of paper targets on it. I picked up some targets and went to the nearest alley. After fiddling with the target controls, I pushed the target back to a good distance. I pulled out two earplugs I kept in my pocket and put them in, also pulling out my Glock. Alright, seventeen rounds. I pulled up my gun and took aim. I tried to be as accurate as possible, I pulled the trigger. As it was in slow motion, click, the firing pin was released. Click, it hit the primer, the primer lit the powder, pressure built up and pushed out the lead bullet, the rifling of the barrel spinning the hot lead. I fired slowly, hitting the target with accuracy, rather than rate of fire. One after another, the slide kicked back, pushing out the hot casing and slamming in a new one. The last round fired and my slide locked back. I hit the mag release and dropped the mag, as it hit the alley table with a clank, I pulled a new one from my jacket, pushing it into the magwell, pushing down the slide release. The slide locked forward, this time I dumped all my rounds. I pulled the trigger as fast as possible, putting round after round into the target. I sighed and dropped the magazine, put in a new one and put it into my coat, not racking the slide for safety. I looked around the room, multiple brooms were hung on the wall, with a sign above "Collect your casing please :)". I picked up one of the brooms and began to sweep them up. Near the brooms was a large rolling trash can filled with casings. They most likely reload the casings, and probably why ammos so cheap from the depot here.

I walked back to the elevator, satisfied with my night shooting. I reached my room, tired, and collapsed on my bed. With the last of my energy, I pulled off my clothes, and got in bed. It wasn't long till I fell asleep...............z....z....z....z....z....
