A frown made its way to Sakusa Kiyoomi's face. This day was nothing but terrible for him. Coffee was spilled on his jacket on the first thing in the morning after that his teacher seated him beside a messy girl and lastly he forgot to bring his beloved sanitizer with him.

Muttering a string of curses under his breath, Sakusa fetch a tissue from his pocket and opened his locker. He grabbed his neatly folded jersey and his volleyball shoes.

He was about to close his locker's door but suddenly a neatly folded (fave. color) enveloped catches his eyes.

Curiously, Sakusa grabbed the (f/c) envelope and turned it backward.

To Sakusa Kiyoomi

His brows furrowed, should he open the envelope or throw it immediately?

Grabbing his phone from the pocket of his jacket he looked at the time and saw that there were still 30 minutes before his volleyball practice. Sakusa looked at the envelope on his hand before sighing.

I'll just throw it later after seeing what's in it. Who knows what kind of germs it has.

Sakusa sat on the nearest bench and opened the envelope revealing a nicely folded paper. With a sigh, he unfolds the letter and starts reading it.

Dear Sakusa Kiyoomi,

I don't know if your reading this letter or not since you probably could've thrown this in the trash after seeing it.

However, if you didn't throw it away, I could assure you that the letter you are reading right now is totally clean. I disinfected my desk 5 times before putting this piece of paper above it and cleaned my pen and hands before writing so don't worry about the germs since it's p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ germfree.

Also, this is the first time I'm writing a letter to someone so I'm sorry if it's bad. But I promise it'll get better over time. I just need to practice more so I could write you a much more decent letter.

To start off, I decided to write a letter for you to get some feelings off my chest. My dear d̶u̶m̶b̶a̶s̶s̶ friend suggested it so why not give it a try e̶v̶e̶n̶ t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ h̶e̶r̶ i̶d̶e̶a̶ w̶a̶s̶ k̶i̶n̶d̶ o̶f̶ s̶h̶i̶t̶t̶y̶ b̶u̶t̶ d̶o̶n̶'t̶ t̶e̶l̶l̶ h̶e̶r̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ s̶i̶n̶c̶e̶ s̶h̶e̶'d̶ p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ k̶i̶l̶l̶ m̶e̶.

Anyways, I just wanted you to know how talented and great you are, but you probably already know that since you are a part of the top aces in Japan and number 1 nonetheless.

Just so you know, I've been crushing on you for a year now, i̶n̶ s̶h̶o̶r̶t̶, I̶'m̶ b̶a̶s̶i̶c̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ a̶ s̶i̶m̶p̶ f̶o̶r̶ y̶o̶u̶. We were classmates when we were in our first years but you probably didn't know my existence but that's fine, less embarrassment from me then.

How I caught feelings for you. Honestly, I don't really know how. To tell you the truth, from the day I realized my crush on you till now I'm still questioning myself on why did I fell for you.

You were seriously very far from my ideal type.

Sure you were good looking, but you were kind of rude, you always ignore someone if they tried talking to you I̶ t̶o̶t̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ e̶x̶p̶e̶r̶i̶e̶n̶c̶e̶d̶ t̶h̶a̶t̶ o̶n̶c̶e̶ b̶u̶t̶ l̶e̶t̶'s̶ n̶o̶t̶ t̶a̶l̶k̶ a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ t̶h̶a̶, and you practically glare at someone if they're not five feet away from you.

Sakusa felt his eyes twitch in annoyance, was this person sure that they wrote the letter because they had a crush on him or they just wrote this letter to complain about him.

He clicked his tongue and went back to reading the letter.

But your actions are probably normal since you're a germaphobe I guess?

I couldn't help but notice the simple kind gestures you do. Like the time our classmate (random name) forgot their tissues on the time they really need it, you gladly t̶h̶r̶e̶w̶ gave them one of the packs of tissues you have. Or the time you ask your cousin Komori-kun if he's sick. I̶ t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶ y̶o̶u̶ o̶n̶l̶y̶ a̶s̶k̶e̶d̶ h̶i̶m̶ s̶o̶ y̶o̶u̶ c̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ i̶m̶m̶e̶d̶i̶a̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ s̶c̶u̶r̶r̶y̶ a̶w̶a̶y̶ f̶r̶o̶m̶ h̶i̶m̶ i̶f̶ h̶e̶ i̶s̶ s̶i̶c̶k̶, b̶u̶t̶ w̶h̶o̶ k̶n̶o̶w̶s̶?  Those above are only a few examples of all the caring gestures you did.

Sakusa blinked in shock and read the previous paragraph one more time.

He couldn't believe someone would even care to remember those simple actions he did because even he didn't care to remember it.

Even if I didn't experience one of those little actions, I couldn't help but feel touched.

With the cold, unapproachable and scary persona on the outside, I didn't know y̶o̶u̶ p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ d̶i̶d̶n̶'t̶ k̶n̶o̶w̶ e̶i̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ that you had a caring nature inside that you show with your simple actions.

And I guess that's one of the reason I admire you so much.

I'm cutting the letter here since my hand is seriously begging me to stop writing. I think I've been writing this letter for about an hour now and it did help to remove some of my cope-up feelings for you.

Also, please don't mind the strikethrough words. I'm too lazy to re-write this letter so this has to do.

I hope reading this letter i̶f̶ y̶o̶u̶ d̶i̶d̶n̶'t̶ t̶h̶r̶o̶w̶ t̶h̶i̶s̶ o̶f̶ c̶o̶u̶r̶s̶e̶ b̶u̶t̶ i̶f̶ y̶o̶u̶ d̶i̶d̶ t̶h̶r̶o̶w̶ t̶h̶i̶s̶ a̶w̶a̶y̶ i̶t̶'s̶ a̶l̶s̶o̶ f̶i̶n̶e̶ made your day better! O̶h̶ w̶o̶w̶, t̶h̶a̶t̶ r̶h̶y̶m̶e̶d̶.

P.s. You probably should expect more letters coming from me.

Sincerely yours,

Unknown

"Sakusa! Sorry for making you wait----oh what's that?" his cousin, Komori asked while looking at the paper on Sakusa's hand.

"A letter." Sakusa simply answered.

He folded the letter neatly and returned it to the (f/c) envelope before putting it inside his bag.

Komori blinked twice, "I'm surprised you didn't throw it away."

Sakusa shrug in response before grabbing his jersey and shoes and head to the changing rooms with Komori walking beside him.

"I'm surprised too."
