It had been three days since Kyle and I had our argument, and those last three day had been a nightmare. Kyle was playing this game dirty, and he knew it. I had planned everything out. I was going to start talking to her more at school, just little comment and stuff like that, so we were better acquainted together. Then I was going to ask her about homework over snap, giving me the chance to talk to her more. I knew she wasn't interested in anyone, so I was going to take the time to not let her know I was interested but let her know that she is interested in me- but Kyle was playing dirty, and he knew that.

Being the teacher's pet that he was, he got himself to be assigned (Y/N)'s lab partner, and I already knew that they had study hall together. Every day I was forced to look at Kyle's smug face, and it was starting to get on my nerves. I was still going through with my own plan, but I wasn't going fast enough- or I at least thought that until I saw him at lunch that day.

"Cartman, you know that you're being a fucking dick right now. Why would you tell her all that stuff? You caused almost half of it in the first place. She literally looked at me with pure disgust this morning," Kyle bitched.

"Dude, you're a fucking idiot for thinking that I would let any of you date my cousin. I have dirt on all of you. There is no way any of you could EVER be in her league," Cartman laughed.

I also wanted to laugh. I couldn't help but wonder what Cartman all told her. I also couldn't help but wonder if his words were serious. He had told me before that he would help me to prevent Kyle from being with her, but he did that all on his own. He also said that he wouldn't let any of us date her. Was he lying about what he said before? Or is he lying now to keep guys away from her to help me? No- that's stupid. If that were the case, he'd send me some sort of signal, and right now, I wasn't sure I existed to him.

The two of them went back and forth all period, and occasionally, Stan would get involved. But I couldn't pay any attention to it. I had to think of my next more. I also had to figure out whose side Cartman was really on.

Being stuck in my thoughts for most of lunch, I didn't get a chance to eat much before the bell rang, but that was fine. I had other things to worry about.

We all simultaneously got up and started going to our fifth period class. For the juniors that meant English, which was run by some drama teacher, trying to start a program at the school. We heard her talk about it all the time. However, today was much different than all the others.

"I know you all are tired of hearing me speak on the subject," the teacher announced, "but a play has been chosen for the drama club. We plan to do a spin on Romeo and Juliet."

"How lame," Cartman commented.

"I think it could be a lot of fun," I heard (Y/N) reply to him.

"I do, too," Kyle commented.

I rolled my eyes at him, but if (Y/N) wanted to be part of this play, then I needed to be part of the play. If I did this right, I could be Romeo, and she could be Juliet. It would guarantee that we would spend plenty time alone together, and I would probably get to kiss her.

"(Y/N), you should totally go for the lead," Heidi said to her.

Now, this idea really had my attention.

"I don't know... you think I could do it?" (Y/N) asked her.

I had stopped listening to the two because now I knew. Now I had a very solid plan. It was fool proof. I just had to get the lead for this play.
