*Your P.O.V.*

After English class, I went with the girls to history, only to be pulled to the side by Eric.

"(Y/N), we need to have a very serious talk right now," he sternly said, pulling me away from the other girls.

"What is it?" I questioned.

"At the end of English, the boys were talking. You said you wanted the lead?" Eric questioned.

"Yeah," I answered, confused to what the problem was. "I think it could be fun."

Eric let out a hysterical laugh, "(Y/N), do you not realize all of my friends are trying to hook up with you? You can't be the lead in this play. You really are okay with one of these losers kissing you?"

He was being over dramatic as usual. He and I both knew that I didn't want to be with any of the guys here, but as I gazed upon the boys behind him, I would be lying if I said I didn't think they were cute. Token and Kyle had both caught my attention, although Kyle was coming on a bit too strong. Not only those two, but Kenny, Stan, and Clyde were all rather cute as well. I didn't want to date any of them, but if I got to be part of a play and kiss a cute boy, I would consider it a win for me.

"Eric, it's just not that big of deal," I rolled my eyes at him.

"Hey, (Y/N), do you think we could talk for a second?" a voice behind us asked.

I turned around to see Token standing over us. Token was the one boy here that I hadn't really talked to. We made eye contact all the time, and I had always wished he'd try to say something, and now he finally was. Therefore, I didn't hesitate to leave Eric.

"Yeah, of course," I smiled to him.

"Cool," he returned the smile as broke off to the side. "I really wanted to ask you something," he said.

"Sure," I replied, interested in what he had to say.

"I...I know you were trying to go for the role of Juliet, which I think is super cool. I'm actually really into theater- my parents have taken me to see a couple shows- so I really wanted the role of Romeo. I think that they'd—" he cut himself off with a nervous laugh. "I'm sorry, I'm oversharing. I just wanted to know if you wanted to come over to my place and practice?"

He seemed nervous but sweet. I didn't want to entertain anyone here, just because I had no want to be a tease, but I didn't see an issue with practicing together, especially if he really wanted the lead role.

"Yeah—"

"Wait, you guys are going to rehearse together?" Kyle asked.

I couldn't help but send Kyle a confused and worried look. I understood that he might have a crush on me, but that was no reason to be so crazy.

"Do you think that I could come too?" Kyle cheerfully asked. "I was hoping to try out for a part to."

I couldn't help but feel rather stupid. He wasn't being crazy. He just wanted to practice too.

"Yeah, I don't see why not. Is that okay with you Token?" I asked him.

Token gave us harsh smile. "Yeah, that's fine..." He then turned to Kyle. "We can meet at my place Thursday after practice," he suggested.

"Or we could go to mine," Kyle instantly reliped.

The two sent a glare towards each other, which I chose to ignore as I made my own suggestion, "Or we could meet at mine? You guys already know where it's at."

The paused for a moment, but both agreed. And luckily, class was just starting so I didn't have to deal with any more bickering.

I hope Thursday goes better...
