I open my locker and I note falls out.

I didn't lose. She just simply won.

I walk to Science and see Peeta and Tess holding hands and smiling.

Hold in the tears, Katniss. You're stronger than this.

But Tess' strawberry blonde hair, pale skin, red (orange basically) freckles, and sparkling blue, green eyes could win over any guy. Even mine.

I never imagined Peeta to sink this low.
I remember that song he sang me.

Him and the guys are making me feel pretty unwanted now.

I wander into the classroom and drown out the lesson on how to divide a fraction by a fraction.

The bell rings and I meet Jade and Clove outside, and they hook their arms with mine. The boys are glaring at me.

I know me, not Jade and Clove, because their eyes are on me.

I'm never letting anyone else in again. They'll just backstab me.

"Hey. Don't let what they say keep you up at night." Jade reminds me. I smile. A real one. Because I know they care about me.

*third person POV*

But what they didn't know, as they laughed and walked, was someone was watching them. And her blue eyes showed signs of jealousy. Jealousy that shall not leave her mind easily.
