𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 - 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙬𝙖

𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒔/𝒐 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏

- since you already knew that Tendou is someone who has a lot of energy and is adventurous, you were uncertain about telling him that you were diagnosed with clinical despression

- when you managed to tell him, he looked at you with surprise in his eyes at first, but then, his face softened

- he pulled you into a hug and told you that it was okay, that you only had to be honest to him about the way you felt, since he wanted to avoid hurting your feelings as much as possible

- on a day in summer, the sun is shining brightly, it's the perfect weather and Tendou is happy and energetic to go to a local lake with you to spend the afternoon in the sun

- but you can't get up. you lie in your bed while Tendou packs up everything, guilty tears shining in your eyes

- when he tells you to get up, you don't answer at first because you know you'll start crying once he sees you

- he pulls the blanket away and looks at you with curious, shining eyes, until he finds the tears running over your cheeks and hears you mumbling that you're sorry, that you just don't have the energy to get up, that you're a burden and that you're sorry to waste his time

- now even though Tendou is very energetic, he's calm when it's needed and he tells you that it's okay, that you can just stay home together and watch a movie or sleep next to each other

- he also helps you to keep up daily plans and reassures you that it's fine if you don't manage to do everything you had planned

- to make sure you eat enough, he starts to learn a little cooking (even though that causes a lot of damage in his kitchen)

- you also have very deep talks because whenever you cry and say you feel worthless, he understands how you feel due to the bullying he went through and the self doubt it caused

- after a while, he gets to know you and your illness pretty well and he is the one who manages to get you out of bed and out the house when you feel down and helps you to enjoy life, even though everything seems dark at the moment

“Hey (y/n)! Everything's done, if you're ready, we can go right now.”

You pulled the blanket a little tighter around your head and tried to swallow down the guilty tears you felt in your eyes.

You felt so bad to be like this again.

Tendou had looked forward to spend the day with you at the lake and enjoy the sun with you, but your entire body felt too heavy to get up.

The inner pain that spread through your soul and the weight that seemed to push your body down was so much that you couldn't fight it.

“Come on, get up.” you heard him chuckle and before you were able to stop him from doing so, he pulled away the blanket and you rose your arms around your head so that he couldn't see the tears that dared to slip from your eyes.

For a moment, it was silent, then, your body started shivering and trembling as the first sob broke out of you.

“I'm sorry, Satori. I'm so sorry.”

You felt that he kneeled on the mattress, before he slowly laid down next to you, one hand gently caressing your arm which you still held over your face so that he wouldn't see your tears.

“Is it that bad again?” he asked with a soft, caring voice and you sobbed again, slowly nodding.

“I'm sorry for being such a burden, I'm... I'm so sorry that I exist.” you whimpered and when you inhaled, your throat aching and aching, you felt how he gently grabbed your arm to slowly pull it away, taking a look at your face.

“No, no, don't be sorry, (y/n).”

He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer.

“I'm glad that you exist. You make me so happy, (y/n).” he said softly and pushed a kiss against your temple, making you sob again.

“But I always drag you down and you looked forward to going to the lake so much.”

He slowly shook his head and observed your face a little closer as he pushed a strand of hair out of your face.

“I just want to be with you. It doesn't matter if we're outside together or inside together.”

You moved a little closer towards him and a shattering sob broke out of you when he caressed your cheek.
His gentleness calmed you a little, but your self-doubt seemed so much stronger than his love.

“But you'll be tired of me one day.”

You hated to say your self-doubts and self-hate out loud.

You feared other people thinking that you just want attention, that you were just drowning in self-pity.

But Tendou didn't believe that.

Because he knew how it felt to hate his own existence.

Gently, he grabbed your cheek so that you looked up at him.

“(y/n), I could never get tired of you.”

You sobbed again and tried to wipe away the tears and sniffed, embarrassed by your messed up face.

“I still can't believe that someone like you, someone as kind, funny, amazing as you wants to be with me. I'm so lucky to have you.”

He pushed a kiss against your nose.

“You're my light in this world.”

A little smile appeared on your lips and you rose a hand to his cheek, slowly running your thumb over his cheekbone.

“You're light, (y/n). And light is stronger than the darkness.” he eventually whispered and you pushed a kiss against his lips, tasting the salt of your own tears that streamed over your face.

When you pulled back, you gasped a little, looking up at his softened eyes.

“Thank you for staying with me, Satori.” you whispered and hurled your body more into his warmth.

A smirk appeared on his lips and he kissed your nose.

"Oh don't worry, I'll stay to go on your nerves for the rest of your days."

You let out a small, exhausted chuckle and closed your eyes as you pushed your head beneath his, drowning in his warmth.

You felt how he caressed your cheek and ran his fingers through you hair and after a few seconds of silence, you heard him whisper:

“Stay with me in this life, we'll eventually find our paradise.”
