Example: Devil went down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels Band will be used and in the story it will be said that they performed it first but a song like You should be here by Cole Swindell, which will also be used, I know it's someone else's creation but for the sake of the story it is written by Y/n. The only songs that are not written by them are ones stated by the characters that they aren't such as y/n saying "This is such and such by [enter artist name]", or something along those lines. I will still give credit to the proper artists even if it is stated that Someone else wrote it.
