Chapter 9~Why me?~

Kenma's POV:

I woke up that morning with y/n still sleeping peacefully in my arms. I looked at the time and saw that there was an hour before school starts. I slowly got up trying not to wake her up because she looked so peaceful in her sleep.

I took a shower and brushed my teeth and got dressed (IN A SEPARATE ROOM 😏😏.) When I got back to my room I saw y/n awake and rubbing her eyes. She looked at me and smiled.

Y/n: "Good morning kenma~"

Kenma: "Good morning y/n." I said while smiling.

Y/n got up and gave me hug. I hugged her back and she walked back to her house since parents were home and she also needed to get ready for school. I was disappointed because the night ended but I was also happy because I might ask y/n to be my girlfriend today.

I went downstairs ate breakfast and fed Coco and played some Mario Cart.

Your POV:

As I walked back home last night replayed in my head almost 100 times. I was really excited for today because kenma might ask me to be his girlfriend or not but it's fine because now I know he also likes me. Then my mind wandered off to Haru. How was I going to tell him this? The past two weeks we grew closer and I honestly thought that I was falling for him.

But today is going to have to be the day that I tell him that I like someone else. I hope he takes it well. Anyways I got to my house and knocked on the door. My mom opened it and I went upstairs to get ready for school.

While I was eating breakfast at the table there was a knock on the door and my mom answered again.

Mom: "Oh hello!"

Kenma: "O-oh h-hello."

Mom: "Are you kenma?"

Kenma: "Yes, I-I'm Kenma Kozume."

Mom: "Oh well it's nice to meet you kenma! Thank you for letting y/n stay at your place."

Kenma: "I-it's not problem."

Mom: "Are you here for y/n?"

Kenma: "Y-yes ma'am."

Mom: "Alright I'll get her."

Then I heard my mom call my name and say that there was someone at the door for me. I grabbed my backpack since I was already about to leave and went to the the door to see who was waiting for me.

You: "Oh hey kenma~!"

Kenma: "Hey y/n, wanna walk to school together?"

You: "Yeah sure!"

Kenma and I walked to school and once we were almost there kenma asked me something.

Kenma: "Hey y/n...would you mind being the volleyball's team manager?"
