Chairman Netero announced on the intercom to speak to the applicants individually. He started with Hisoka. You wondered what he will speak to the group about. Perhaps this was the secret final phase.

Not long after Hisoka, your name was called. He asks who you're keeping a close eye on and who you least want to fight. You specify on how you're keeping a close eye on number 44, Hisoka. After all, you can't keep away from him anyway. You continue on how the person you least want to fight would have to be number 405, Gon and 99, Killua. Their powers deserve to flourish. When you left the office with Netero, you made your way back to your room.

'~Meet me here at 9...~ '

There was always something new that Hisoka has you waiting for. It's never something expected and loves keeping you anxious about it too. You love the thrill of this man. The new association offer requires your bloodlust that's always waiting for that small leak as an excuse to release your true intentions. But there was something off.

You retouch your hair before heading back to the benches. He brings up the job offer not long after he meets you. Were those steamy scenes back in the island all to lure you in? Had he figured out your weakness solely to be his personal pet? Even if he planned to keep you for his own for business purposes he must know you won't exit without a fight. He knows damn well you're no ordinary rookie. Adding the final touches to your lips, you laugh indistinctly. How have I gotten myself in this mess? It won't be long before you completely lose it and end up with someone's head as a trophy.

Either way, that's still only a thought. You might be overthinking and ended up pissing yourself off instead. Since when is it so easy to make you mad? Rage only over comes to you when you can't get what you want and yet you stand here letting others step all over you. No. Nothing's confirmed. He knows.

You make your way to the bench. There was silence on the blimp, more than it should've been. The sky was painted with a deep blue and shiny whites scattered all across. The light of the halls dimmed down to a soft yellow, maintaining the mood of the night. You rest your head on your hand, waiting. The silence allows your mind to wonder off to the day you took your first life. The neighbor's son was always so obnoxious with faucets for eyes. He always had something to cry about. One day you just─snapped. There was a silence in the town that was so unbearable. One you couldn't understand and it lasted for over a week. He wasn't a preteen like you at the time but he wasn't far off. It was almost disrespectful to consider that a son by the way he broke down by every little thing. Mostly, all you could remember was how proud your father was learning how you laid out your mindset.

Hisoka silently takes a seat next to you, breaking you out of your trance. Your ear twitched at the sound of rattling down the hall. Was he just with Gittarackur?

"~Yo." Hisoka smirks.

"Hey." You respond. His usual tone is absent. He sounds serious.

"~You've made the right choice on joining us. We can provide you a life time of opportunities to give you exactly what you want."

"I know that already. That's why I agreed. But that's not what you're here for, isn't it?" You question.

"~You're so captivating [Y/N]...~ ♥"

Hisoka dazzled your vision with just his eyes. He was keeping intense eye contact with you and drawing you in with his smile. Those lips must be so used to his smile. You lick your lips and look away, throwing your head back.
