Kim POV:
Today was a slow day. It was mostly a catch up on a bunch of paperwork days. Adam came up the stairs coming into work. Voight immediately asked where Dr. Sara was.
Adam: She got called to another scene for narcotics.
Then Adam starts announcing: So, last night I proposed to Sara and she said yes.
The team congratulates.
Adam: So we talked about dates this morning and we decided to get married tonight. So if you guys don't have any plans, we would love it if you could come.
The team is in shock.
Tonight?! I practically said I still have feelings for Adam yesterday. There's no way I can come to this wedding. I have to find an excuse to get out of it.
Kevin chimes in after a moment of silence: Yeah, of course.
The rest of the team joins in support: yeah, we will be there.
Adam looks at me wondering if I can come. Well, I can't say no since everyone else is coming.
Hesitantly, I said: Yes, I'll be there.
