Hello! I had this idea in my head so I hope you all enjoy this one!

Erdrick was with Terry, they were getting ready for a team battle together. Erdrick was thinking of what happened in his past, he didn't knew that much about his parents and he still got nightmares of what happened to his dad. Terry tapped Erdrick's shoulder and he said to him "hey dude! You've been distracted bro, what's the matter? Something on your mind?" Erdrick chuckled and he said to him "nah it's nothing! I was just thinking if me, you and Akira to get some lunch together! Haha..." Terry had a confused look on his face and he said to Erdrick "well okay! Maybe right after this battle though!" Erdrick smiled but it slowly faded away, the team battle was almost starting. Erdrick got his sword ready and Terry and Erdrick went to their team battle together. Their team battle was over and they won. Terry and Erdrick won their team battle, Terry came back all excited and he said to Erdrick "alright bro we won! Ahaha!" Erdrick passed Terry, he didn't knew what's up with Erdrick, Terry walked over to Erdrick and he said to him "hey dude you okay? You seem down." Erdrick quickly smiled and he said to Terry "o-oh it's because It's time to get some lunch with Akira and you! Hehe... eh..." Terry had a grin on his face and he said to him "well okay! Let's go get some food bro! And if there's anything on your mind tell me" Erdrick smiled trying not to show that he was sad. Time has passed by and Erdrick came back to his dorm, he flopped onto his bed. He couldn't stop thinking about his dad, he cried a little, Byleth came into her dorm were Erdrick was and she said to him "Hey Erdrick? Have you seen my biology book for well my biology class, I can't seem to find it an-" Byleth noticed that Erdrick was crying, she closed the door and she sat right next to him. Erdrick sat back up and he saw her, he panicked and he said to Byleth "Ah! Byleth!? What are you doing here? I thought your gonna be with Zelda or Lucina!" Byleth put her hand around her neck and she said to him "they had something else to do but... whats wrong? And why you were crying?" Erdrick hide his tears so Byleth couldn't see that he was crying but Byleth definitely noticed that he was crying, Erdrick had tears in his eyes, his voice almost broke and he said to Byleth "o-okay... I was crying..." Erdrick cried and he fell onto Byleth's lap, Byleth was suprised. She never saw him cry before but she put her hand on Erdrick's hair and she stroked it and she said to him "hey hey hey, it's okay. Let all out." Erdrick kepted on crying, he stopped and Byleth looked at him and she said to him "so why you were acting all sad today?" Erdrick let out a sad sigh and he said to her "okay I guess I will tell you." He took a deep breath and he said to her "it's about my dad... he died while I was very young, I remember that he went off somewhere I really don't know what it was but once my grandmother came back, she told me and my grandfather that my dad died. It was really hard for me..." Byleth had a sad look on her face and she said to him "I'm... so sorry Erdrick" Erdrick kind of smiled but it faded away and he said to her "it's okay" But Byleth was kind of cerious and she said to him "but what happened to your mom?" Erdrick looked down for a few seconds and he said to her "Well she raised me along with my grandpa, my mom is treating me nice and stuff.." Byleth had a worried look on her face and she said to him "oh okay, then did your mom understand that you got into smash bros?" Erdrick looked at her and he said to Byleth "yeah my mom understand that I got into smash bros, she was quite worried that I may get hurt or something but I told her that I will be fine.." Byleth smiled and she said to him "that's great!" Erdrick had a sad look on his face, he almost broke down into tears and he said to her "but... I just keep thinking about my dad... I felt so alone without him..!" Erdrick tried to wipe his tears, then Byleth walked scoot over next to him and she hugged him. Erdrick started to cry again, he cried into Byleth's arms and he said to her "I wish I could've been there for him, I wish I could've spend more time with him, I should've said that I love you to him but... IT WAS ALL OF MY FAULT!!!" Erdrick was still crying In Byleth's arms. Erdrick stopped hugging Byleth, tears were rolling down to his cheeks. Then Byleth wiped his tears away with her hands and she said to him "I know how it feels but, I bet your dad is up in heaven right now looking down on you. That's why you're his son, he's probably so proud of you that he raised you and it's not your fault Erdrick." Erdrick smiled a little and he said to Byleth "how did you feel about your parents Byleth, did they pass away or?" Byleth sighed, she didn't really wanna talk about it. She took a deep breath and she said to him "okay here it goes. My mom gave birth to me but she died while I was born." Erdrick had a sad look on his face and he said to her "I'm so sorry Byleth" Byleth kind of smiled and she said to him "it's fine, and as for my dad. He also died but I watched him died because someone killed him in front of my very own eyes, I loved him... so much..." Byleth kind of got emotional but she wiped her tears away and she took a deep breath and she said to Erdrick "but I'm pretty sure that I raised myself but I bet your dad is proud of you Erdrick." Erdrick smiled a little and he said to Byleth "I guess your right he is proud of me but I'm so sorry what you've been through Byleth" Byleth smiled brightly and she said to him "it's okay, it's fine!" Erdrick held Byleth's hand, Byleth blushed and she looked at him. Erdrick looked at Byleth and he said to her "thank you for supporting me, it was really sweet and kind of you Byleth" Byleth's cheeks brighten a little and she said to him "y-your welcome it's the least I could do!" They both chucked, then Erdrick looked over to the side of their dorm and he said to her "so.. what do you wanna do? It's almost" he checked the time on his phone and he said to her "it's almost 10:30" Byleth realized it was getting late so she had to get some rest. Time passed, it was nearly 11:30, Byleth got ready for bed, she was all dressed in her pajamas and so was Erdrick, he was also in his pajamas getting ready for bed, Byleth sat down on her bed and she layed down on her bed and she said to Erdrick "goodnight Erdrick, see you tmorrow!" Before Byleth closed her eyes. Erdrick came up to her and he said to her "um... this is the most awkward-ish question in the world but... Byleth?" Byleth sit right back up and she opened her eyes and she said to him "I think I know what you were about to say Erdrick" Erdrick blushed a little and he said to her "that is..." Byleth scooted over to the side of her bed, and she said to him "you wanted some company?" Erdrick smiled and he layed down and he covered himself with a blanket. Then he said to her "how did you know that I wanted to well, sleep with you?" Byleth chuckled, she gave him a sweet smile and she said to him "I noticed while you were sad, I knew you wanted someone to sleep with" Erdrick kind of blushed and he said to her "I guess that makes sense but thanks for supporting me Byleth" Byleth smiled and she said to him "no problem." They both looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds untill they blushed and Byleth said to Erdrick "sorry... I guess i kind of got carried away hehe," Erdrick blushed as well and he said to her "yeah" Byleth lifted a piece of Erdrick's hair and she kissed him on the forehead, Erdrick blushed. He didn't knew that Byleth kissed him on the forehead, Byleth stopped and she said to him "hehe sorry, I kind of got carried away with my own words, I just wanted to cheer you up so yeah" Erdrick smiled and he said to her "that's fine, that actually felt pretty nice" Then Byleth wrapped her arms around Erdrick, Erdrick gasped a little, he smiled of Byleth's warmth and comfort. His eyes felt burry and he whispered to her "Byleth.... I love you" Byleth looked down and she saw Erdrick sleeping in her arms, she smiled and she whispered to him "I love you too Erdrick" then Erdrick fell asleep in Byleth's arms and it was a good and peaceful night for them and Byleth drifted off to sleep.
