Winter (Christmas eve Special)

Hello! And merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a great Christmas even though this year may be a little bit weird but we will get through this! So bundle up in your cozy and soft blanket, get a cup of hot cocoa and sit down in your faveorite spot because this is gonna be a great chapter for this Christmas Eve! It was December 24th it was time for Christmas, everyone in the smash mansion was getting festive for the holidays. Sure this year is really weird when the holidays are coming up but everyone liked Christmas, Byleth and Erdrick were at the store getting Christmas decorations for Terry and Joker, it took them a while to get in the store because it was a huge line and everyone wants to get inside. Once they got the decorations for their friends, Byleth got the decorations as she said to Erdrick "alright we got the decorations for Joker and Terry! What's next on the list Erdrick?" Erdrick got the ornaments as he put them inside the bag as he said to Byleth "well we got everything we have soooo let's go back home so we can give them their stuff" Byleth smiled as she nodded her head and she said to him "alright! Let's go then!" Then they walked back home to give their friends the Christmas items. Once they got home Erdrick gave Terry the Christmas items that they need, Erdrick handed Terry the Christmas items as he said to him "here you go! I hope this Christmas year is very special!" Terry chuckled as he said to him "yeah my dude! Also have you heard that there is gonna be like some sort of Christmas party that is gonna be hosted tonight? I think the person who is hosting it is uhh... Palutena! Yeah she's hosting it this year" Erdrick was excited for the Christmas party, he couldn't contain his excitement as he jumped up and down as he said to him "really?! OH MY GOD ITS GONNA BE SO. MUCH. FUN. EEEEE!!!! Thank you for the information Terry! I have to tell the others about this!" And Erdrick ran to his dorm with his excitement in his body. Byleth was putting her sweater on since it was cold inside her dorm, she wondered what time the party is gonna start, she was also gonna get a present for Erdrick as well. Once She got done getting ready and was about to leave until Erdrick came into her dorm and he said to her "BYLETH!!" Byleth startled because she heard her name being called really loud, she looked at Erdrick as she said to him "you scared me!" Erdrick kind of felt bad that he scared her, he looked to the side of the door as he said to her "sorry I just kind of got excited over something.. I didn't mean to scare you like that" Byleth smiled as she walked up to him and she said to him "it's okay! But what you were all excited about?" Erdrick had a big excited grin on his face as he jumped up and down. He couldn't handle his excitement as he said to Byleth "there's this Christmas party that Palutena is gonna host it's gonna be so much fun! And I also heard that there is gonna be some kind of winter dance that is gonna perform too but are you gonna come to the party Byleth? It's okay if your busy with anything" Byleth was excited for the Christmas party but she had something in mind. She put her hand over her neck as she said to Erdrick "well I am gonna go but i have to get some presents for my friends though but I will come right after I'm done getting the presents and stuff. " Erdrick nodded his head since he understands that but he was curious if she gonna give him a gift this year, Erdrick blushed a little as he said to her "well... are you gonna give me a present Byleth?" Byleth smiled at Erdrick as she said to him "yeah why wouldn't I! But I wish I could tell you but it's a secret" Erdrick was even more curious of what the present was. Byleth was thinking if Erdrick is gonna give her a present or not, she chuckled nervously as she said to him "but are you gonna give me something? I-it's okay if you don't give anything to me though!" Erdrick smiled at Byleth as he said to her "yeah I'm gonna give a present to you!" They both smiled at each other then Byleth checked the time on her phone, she realized that she has to help with Min Min with her ramen for the party. Then she smiled at Erdrick one last time and she said to him "I have to help with Min Min with the ramen but I will talk to you later okay?" Erdrick smiled but it kind of faded away as he said to her "okay I will see you later then..." Erdrick was thinking if he should take Byleth out on a date before the party starts, Byleth was worried for Erdrick, she had a sad look on her face and she said to him "are you alright Erdrick? You don't sound like yourself, is there anything you want to tell me? It's okay if you don't wanna tell me about it" Erdrick blushed as he sighed nervously, he didn't know what to say since he was really nervous. He took a deep breath and he said to her "Byleth... if it's alright with you, do you wanna go out on a date with me...? and we can walk around town and see what's going on there!" Byleth blushed as she smiled softly at him she walked up to Erdrick as she hugged him and she said to him "of course I wouldn't miss going out with you during the Holidays Erdrick" Erdrick smiled as he wrapped his arms around her as he hugged her back, Byleth stopped hugging him. She kind blushed a bit more as she said to him "sorry I kind of got a bit too excited there hehe!" Erdrick smiled as he chuckled and he said to her "it's okay I understand that! Now go on and help with Min Min with the ramen, I will wait for you so we can go out and walk around" Byleth nodded her head as she said to him "okay! See you later Erdrick! Love you!" Erdrick smiled at her and he said to her "okay love you too!" Then Byleth closed the door as she walked out of her dorm to help with Min Min. Erdrick sighed as he sat down on his bed and he layed down. He was thinking of what to get for Byleth this year, he wanted to make her happy and feel joy in Byleth's heart. Of course he didn't want to break her heart by not giving her anything, Erdrick sighed as he said to himself "I should probably think of what I should get her... I want it to be something special that she would love and remember. I want to be the best boyfriend that she could ever have, I just want her to be happy if I just could give her something" Erdrick felt tired as he yawned and he closed his eyes as he fell asleep. A few hours passed by Byleth was done helping with Min Min with the ramen she was on her way back to her dorm to get ready for her date with Erdrick, she opened the door and she saw Erdrick sleeping. She smiled as she walked up to him and she covered him up with a blanket, she looked at him softly as she gave him a kiss on the forehead. Then she walked to her desk as she sat down writing what to give her friends for Christmas. Erdrick woke up and he realized that Byleth was here, he got off from his bed as he stand up and he stretched, he saw Byleth writing something. He walked up to Byleth as he said to her "Hey Byleth! I see you that your writing something for your friends aye?" Byleth looked at him as she put the list away so he couldn't see what gifts that she was getting for her friends, she chuckled as she said to him "yeah! But don't look or it's gonna ruin the surprise!" Then Erdrick laughed and he said to her "okay I won't look but should we get ready to walk around town?" Byleth nodded in agreement as she said to him "yep! I'll get ready right now actually!" Then Erdrick nodded his head and he said to her "okay!" Byleth got her outfit and she went to the bathroom to change into her outfit. Once Erdrick was done getting ready he had a dark blue sweater on, a light pastel red scarf around his neck blue mittens and brown boots for his winter outfit. He was standing outside of his dorm waiting for Byleth he was really excited to see what's going around town, he wanted to see many things as well. When Byleth got ready into her winter outfit, she stepped out of the bathroom and she saw Erdrick waiting for her, she smiled as she walked up to him and she said to him "Hey! Thanks for waiting for me I'm all ready to go but how do I look?" Erdrick looked at Byleth for a good few seconds then he blushed a little, he put his hand behind his neck has he smiled nervously as he said to her "you look very pretty Byleth I really like your outfit it's very festive" Byleth blushed as she heard Erdrick's compliment she smiled shyly as she said to him "thank you Erdrick that's really nice of you! You look great yourself, I love your outfit! It's amazing!" Erdrick had a proud look on his face and he said to her "yeah I know now shall we get going?" Byleth nodded in agreement as she smiled and she said to him "sure let's go!" Then they left the smash mansion to go to walk around town and see what's in store for them. Byleth and Erdrick saw many places outside of course it was snowing so it caught Byleth's attention, Byleth saw a café nearby. She held Erdrick's hand as she said to him "there's a café right here! Do you wanna get something there?" Erdrick nodded as he smiled and he said to her "yeah! There's some coffee that I may like! Let's go!" Then they walked inside the café to order their drinks. Shantae was the cashier of the café it was her new job since she wanted to be in the smash roster for dlc but maybe someday she will join, Byleth and Erdrick went inside the café and they went to the front desk where Shantae was. Shantae saw them as she said to them "hello and welcome to smash café! Im Shantae and what would you to like to order?" Byleth looked at the menu she was seeing of what they have, she already had her mind up and she said to her "yes I would like have one pumpkin spice latte please" Shantae wrote her order down on a piece of paper and she said to herself "one pumpkin spice latte alright! What about you?" Erdrick wanted something that wasn't too hot or too cold but he will manage. Then he got his mind up and he said to her "one hot cocoa please" Shantae also wrote down Erdrick's order then she said to then "okay so I got one pumpkin spice latte and one hot cocoa, is that all for today?" Byleth nodded and she said to her "yeah" then Shantae smiled at them and she said to her "okay! You're orders will be up in a bit!" Byleth smiled as Erdrick sat down on a chair waiting for his order, Byleth sat right next to him as she said to him "this is nice! I didn't knew Shantae worked here!" Erdrick smiled at Byleth and he said to her "yeah! I didn't knew that she worked here either! It's amazing!" Byleth nodded her head and and she said to him "yeah!" And They both talked until their orders were done, Byleth payed for their drinks and Shantae said to her "alright thank you for coming today and have a great rest of your day! And happy holidays!" Byleth nodded her head as she got her drinks and she said to her "thank you! You have a great rest of your holidays too!" Byleth walked over to Erdrick as she handed his drink to him and she said to him "do you wanna drink it outside or do you wanna stay here?" Erdrick got off as he held his drink and he said to her "yeah we can go outside and drink it out there!" Then they walked outside. Byleth found a bench so they can sit down and relax, they sat down as they drank their drinks. Byleth drank her pumpkin spice latte she smiled as she tasted the flavor of her drink she looked around outside and she realized it was snowing, then she said to Erdrick "I didn't realize that it was snowing at this time! The snow is really beautiful isn't it Erdrick?" Erdrick drank his hot cocoa and he said to her "yeah it really is..." Byleth had a worried look on her face she didn't knew what's up with Erdrick. He couldn't be sad on Christmas Eve, Byleth finished drinking her drink and as she walked to the nearest garbage can and she threw her cup away in it and she sat back down into the bench and she said to him "are you okay Erdrick? Is there something the matter?" Erdrick chuckled as he smiled and he said to her "no no no! I'm not upset or anything like that" Byleth was confused, she thought that he was feeling down. Byleth held her hands together and she said to him "then what did you wanted to say to me then?" Erdrick smiled softly and he said to her "I really like spending time with you Byleth Especially on Christmas Eve. It's really nice to spend time with the people you love isn't it?" Byleth smiled at him and she said to him "yeah it is" then Byleth remembered a memory with her father when she was little, while she was remembering it. She had a sad look on her face as she sighed sadly, Erdrick was worried for Byleth. He thought that he made her feel upset then he said to her "you okay Byleth? You don't look like yourself, is there anything on your mind right now?" Byleth sighed she tried not her best to cry, she could feel her hands freezing from the cold as she said to him "it's just that... I remembered when I was little that I spend Christmas with my father but I think the last time I spend the holidays with him.. I actually don't remember when was the last time I spend Christmas with him at all..." Erdrick held Byleth's hands and he said to her "oh... but do you remember anything else from that memory?" Byleth cried as tears falling to her cheeks and she said "I-I don't know.. but.. I don't w-wanna talk about it a-anymore..." Erdrick wrapped his arms around her as he gave her a hug and he said to her "it's okay I understand let it all out... and your not the only one who has lost a parent Byleth, some of us has lost something in their lives right?" Byleth stopped hugging him as she sniffed and she said to him "y-yeah I think I heard Sephrioth that he lost his mom in his world, I'm not sure" Erdrick nodded and he said to her "yeah but are you feeling better now Byleth? I'm worried for you" Byleth wiped her tears away as she smiled at Erdrick and she said to him "yes I'm feeling better now and I'm sorry for rambling like this" Erdrick smiled at Byleth as he kissed her on the cheek, Byleth blushed as she smiled softly. Erdrick stopped as he smiled and he said to her "it's okay we all have our days and... I'm just glad that your feeling better Byleth" they both chuckled until it was 5:30 (pm) Erdrick realized that they have to go back for the Christmas party and he said to Byleth "oh shoot I forgot! I just realized that we've been talking this whole time and forgetting about the party! Let's go back!" Byleth nodded as she held Erdrick's hand and she said to him "okay let's go!" Then they walked back to the smash mansion for the Christmas party. A few hours passed by and the Christmas party has already started, the smash mansion had Christmas lights to light up the place there was food, games and everyone was dancing and having fun. Food was also being served there and presents were under the Christmas tree. Byleth was getting ready to go give Zelda and Lucina their gifts, she was excited give their gifts, she held the presents in her hands as she walked to their dorm. She knocked on Zelda's door as Lucina opened the door as she saw Byleth and she said to her "Ayeee Byleth! You got our presents for us! But hi! Come on in!" Byleth smiled as she walked inside Zelda's dorm and she said to her "yeah! Hi Zelda! I see you decorated your dorm again!" Zelda had a big grin on her face as she said to her "yeah! Christmas is my favorite time of year! It's always been!" Lucina smiled as she said to Zelda "yep we know but anyway, Byleth are you gonna show us what you got us for this year?" Byleth nodded her head as she gave Lucina and Zelda their gifts, Zelda was excited that she already opened her present. She sequeled as she smiled and she said to Byleth "thank you Byleth girly!!!! You got me plushies (stuffed animals) of precure!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!" Byleth smiled at Zelda as she said to her "of course anytime! I'm glad you liked it Zelda" Lucina opened her gift, she got a pair of headphones of her faveorite color. She smiled and she said to Byleth "ooo you got me headphones! Thanks Byleth I actually needed these because I broke mine a few months ago hehe!" Byleth chuckled as she said to her "of course and yeah we all lose or break things sometimes!" They all luaghed of what Byleth said, then Zelda had a smug grin on her face and she said to Byleth "sooooo are you gonna give something to Erdrick this year aye?" Byleth blushed a little and she said to her "yeah I actually do plan giving something to him! Why?" Zelda still had a smug grin on her face and she said to her "just wondering NOW! I'm gonna play with my precure plushies! Weeeeeeee!!!" Lucina chuckled. Lucina liked seeing Zelda being all happy and being herself, she wanted to tell her how she really felt, she whispered to Byleth and she said to her "can I talk to you for a minute Byleth? Outside of our dorm" Byleth nodded as she stepped outside of Lucina's dorm and she said to her "sure what's up?" Lucina closed the door as she blushed a little and she said to her "don't freak out but..." Lucina sighed as she took a deep breath and she said to her "I may be bisexual or a lesbian... it's like... I have feelings for Zelda but more than just friends but if I tell her how I really feel. She's gonna get all confused and upset. I don't know what to do" Byleth was suprised she didn't knew what sexuality that Lucina was, she was thinking for a bit and she said to Lucina "well I'm not sure of these things but maybe tell Zelda when the time is right and I'm sure she will understand how you feel! And I'm sure Zelda won't get upset how you feel about her!" Lucina smiled at Byleth. She knew that she could understand and not freak out about it, she gave her a thumbs up and she said to her "thanks Byleth and I may tell her once the time is right. Like you said" Byleth realized that she had to deliver Erdrick's gift next, she smiled at Lucina and she said to her "of course! And I have to go, I have to give Erdrick his gift. I will see you later!" Lucina waved at Byleth and she said to her "okay see ya!!" Then Lucina walked as she closed her door to hangout with Zelda for the rest of the night. A few minutes later there was a guest room that had a fireplace and a couch in the room, Erdrick was in the guest room sitting on the couch, since no one used the guest room at this hour so he was there for now. He was looking at the fireplace, he was thinking if he was gonna be alone again on Christmas Eve, he didn't liked being alone. Then Erdrick smiled when he was done making Byleth's gift for her, he was very proud of what he made, It was a small music box with a plastic ladybug on it and it had a picture of them while a song played every time he open the music box, he liked the little music box that he made. He wrapped it up as he put it in a bag, he also made beaded bracelets for her, he liked the colors that he chose for the beads, he also put them in the bag as well. Byleth walked inside the guest room as she saw Erdrick, she had a big smile on her face and she said to him "Hi Erdrick!! I'm glad that you're here!" Erdrick smiled at her he was excited to see what Byleth gave him for Christmas this year and he said to her "yeah same here! And I got you something!" Byleth was curious of what he was gonna get her, she smiled at him and she said to him "yes and I got you something too!" Byleth closed the door as she sat down on the couch right next to him, Erdrick was curious of what she is gonna give him. Erdrick blushed as he handed Byleth his gift and he said to her "here Byleth I hope you like it, I actually made this myself but t-take it!" Byleth smiled as she held the bag in her hands, she opened the gift and it was a small music box. She gasped a little as she smiled, she was surprised how nice it looked, Erdrick smiled at Byleth as he put his hand over his neck and he said to her "open the music box, there's something you may like in there" Byleth nodded her head and she said to him "alright" she opened the music box as a song played, it was a tiny ladybug spinning while the song played. Byleth smiled as she saw the little ladybug but what was more surprising that she noticed a picture of her and Erdrick. She had tears in her eyes, she cried tears of happiness as she gave Erdrick a big hug and she said to him "I love it Erdrick! I love it so much!!" Erdrick was surprised, he knew that Byleth would love the gift that he gave her, he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and he said to her "I'm glad you liked it Byleth and I knew that you loved it too" Byleth stopped hugging him as she wiped her tears away as she said to him "sorry about that! I liked the gift so much that... I started crying tears of happiness, thank you so much Erdrick. I love it" Erdrick smiled at her as he said to her "Its okay don't worry about it! And of course Byleth I'm glad you liked it but did you like the bracelets that I gave you?" Byleth put the little bracelets on as she smiled and she said to him "yeah! It's very pretty! I love it! Thank you Erdrick, it's very thoughtful of you!" Erdrick smiled softly at Byleth and he said to her "of course and I'm glad you liked it!" Byleth almost forgot to give Erdrick his gift she handed him the gift as she said to him "here's your gift! I hope you like it! I actually made this one myself actually.. it took a few months so.." Erdrick opened the gift and it was a sweater that Byleth made for him, it had little chibi's of them, Erdrick smiled as he was looking at it. He wrapped his arms around Byleth as he hugged her and he said to her "Thank you Byleth!!! I love it so much! Thank you! It's beautiful!" Byleth wrapped her arms around him as he hugged him back and she said to him "your welcome Erdrick I'm glad that you liked it, it took me a long time to make it but I'm that you liked it so much! They both smiled at each other for a few seconds then Byleth looked at the fireplace, she liked how it looked in general, Erdrick sighed he felt a sad feeling in his heart. Byleth felt worried for Erdrick she didn't knew what was wrong with him, she held his hand as she said to him "hey.. you okay Erdrick? You seem kind of down" Erdrick looked at Byleth with a smile on his face but it faded away afterwords, he tried his best not to cry. He took a deep breath and he said to her "it's just... I keep remembering about my father... I remember spending Christmas with him every year but ever since he passed away.. I-" Erdrick started to cry he gotten emotional whenever he talks about his father, tears rolled down to his cheeks as he cried. He took a deep breath but he was still crying as he said to Byleth "I-I just don't see him anymore! I've been so l-lonely without him and I feel so weak and stupid!!" Erdrick cried even more after what he just said. Byleth looked at Erdrick as she said to him "Erdrick... look at me" Erdrick looked at her as she put her hand on Erdrick's cheeks and she wiped his tears away off from his face. She felt really worried for him now, she had a sad look on her face and she said to him "I know how it feels Erdrick, I lost my father and my mother too but... your not weak and your not stupid either! You are an amazing person and I look up to you because I'm your girlfriend and I would do anything to support you! Just don't say that you're weak because you're not weak at all!" Erdrick was surprised that Byleth said that to him, then Byleth wrapped her arms around him as she hugged Erdrick and she said to him "and I love you Erdrick I love you so much, it breaks my heart to see you cry... I just want to see you smile like the hero you are! I know how it feels and I totally relate to you! You're not the only one that lost a parent or a loved one. Many people here has lost someone." Erdrick nodded his head and he said to her "yeah I guess your right about that.." Byleth stopped hugging him. Erdrick sighed one more time as he held Byleth's hand and he said to her "I'm sorry Byleth... I didn't mean to cry in front of you. I just had to left out my emotions and vent to someone about this..." Byleth smiled at him as she held Erdrick's hand and she said to him "it's alright and don't apologize! It's okay to vent about how you truly feel! And it's okay to cry as well" Erdrick smiled at Byleth. He was already feeling better by Byleth's love and support, he smiled at her one more time as he said to her "and thanks Byleth for cheering me up, it was really sweet and kind of you" Byleth smiled at Erdrick as she said to him "of course! I'm just glad that you're feeling better! And if you wanna talk about how you feel, I'm here!" Erdrick nodded his head and he said to her "alright! I will! I will keep that in mind!" They both chuckled. Byleth looked up at the ceiling as she blushed and she said to Erdrick "um Erdrick?" Erdrick looked at her with a confused look on his face as he said to her "what is it Byleth?" Byleth was kind of embarrassed what to say then she said to him "look up on the ceiling" Erdrick looked up and he realized that they were under the mistletoe. Erdrick blushed, he could feel his cheeks burning he chuckled nervously as he said to Byleth "m-mistletoe! Wow! I didn't even realize that we were under it for so long haha!" Byleth blushed as well she could also feel her cheeks burning, she laughed shyly as she said to him "y-yeah no wonder!" They both smiled at each other. Erdrick smiled softly at Byleth as he said to her "I wanted to say Byleth, thank you for spending time with me today even though you were busy and hanging out with Lucina and Zelda which I totally understand that but... spending Christmas Eve with you was.. amazing" Byleth smiled at Erdrick as she said to him "yeah! And tonight was really amazing too not only it was Christmas in all I had the best Christmas Eve today because I spent time with my friends not only Zelda and Lucina... I spent time with the best boyfriend that I have right here and that is you Erdrick!" Erdrick held his hand on Byleth's cheek and he said to her "thanks Byleth I really appreciate it!" They looked up at the mistletoe one last time as Erdrick said to Byleth "Merry Christmas Byleth" Byleth smiled at Erdrick as she said to him "Merry Christmas to you to Erdrick" Then Erdrick leaned in as he kissed Byleth, Byleth closed her eyes as she blushed and kissed him back. They both stopped as they blushed a little and Byleth said to him "wow... that felt nice.." Erdrick nodded his head as he said to her "yeah it did.." they both smiled at each other again and Byleth said to him "so what do you want to do now Erdrick?" Erdrick still realized that they're still under the mistletoe, Erdrick blushed a little and he said to her "I don't know but... we're still under the mistletoe Byleth hehe" Byleth's face turned extremely red as she blushed, she chuckled nervously as she said to him "GAH! Wow! I-um..!?!? I didn't knew Hehe! Let's move away from it b-before anything else happens!" Erdrick smiled at her as he held Byleth's hand and he said to her "Byleth i..." Byleth looked at Erdrick she didn't knew what he was gonna say, she had a curious look on her face and she said to him "what is it Erdrick?" Erdrick sighed he was still blushing as he said to her "I love you" then he kissed her on the cheek. Byleth blushed as she smiled softly, Erdrick stopped and he hide his face after what he just done, Byleth smiled at Erdrick as she held his hand and she said to him "I love you too Erdrick and I always will" Byleth looked at him and she kissed him on the cheek. Erdrick blushed even more, Byleth stopped as she smiled shyly for a few seconds then she chuckled nervously and she said to him "sorry I didn't mean to do that Erdrick..." Erdrick smiled at her as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her as he said to her "it's okay Byleth and we can probably stay here if you want, I'm actually kind of tired since I woke up early to buy those presents for my friends and you" Byleth nodded her head and she said to him "okay! And yeah I was actually tired as well since I kind of woke up early too you know?" Erdrick nodded his head in agreement and he said to her "yeah, but you should get some sleep though it's good for your brain and your health too!" Byleth smiled at him as she layed her head down on Erdrick's shoulder and she looked at the fireplace with him. Erdrick blushed a little as he looked at Byleth, he smiled at her as he got a blanket and he put the blanket on her. Byleth put the blanket around Erdrick so he won't get cold and she said to him "I put the blanket on you so you won't get cold" Erdrick smiled at her as he said to her "alright! And I'm sure that we won't get cold tonight because we have the fireplace to ourselfs! Byleth nodded her head and she said to him "yeah!" Then Byleth felt tired as she closed her eyes and she said to him "Erdrick... I love you..." Erdrick smiled at her and he said to her "I love you too Byleth and merry Christmas" Byleth smiled softly as she said to him "merry Christmas to you too Erdrick" Byleth can feel her eyes closing, she closed her eyes and she fell asleep. Erdrick smiled at Byleth he got a pillow and he layed her down on the couch and he layed down right next to her as he held her hand. Byleth woke up as she saw Erdrick right next to her and she said to him "Erdrick..? Isn't it late already?" Erdrick was surprised and he said to her "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to wake you up Byleth!" Byleth luaghed a little as she said to him "it's okay! I don't mind!" They both looked at eachother for a few seconds then Byleth held Erdrick's hand and she said to him "thank you for today Erdrick it was really fun spending time with you" Erdrick smiled at Byleth as he held her hand and he said to her "no problem and yes it was really fun spending time with you too Byleth, I really loved the gift you gave me as well!" Byleth blushed a little by Erdrick's complement as she said to him "t-thanks Erdrick I really appreciated it and I love your gift too!" Erdrick blushed a little and he said to her "thanks Byleth I'm glad you liked it" Byleth felt tired again, she felt her eyes closing and she said to him "Erdrick... I love you" Erdrick smiled at her as he hugged her and wrapped his arms around her. Byleth gasped a little as she smiled, she could feel Erdrick's warmth around her and she said in her mind "this warmth... it feels so warm... I feel so calm and being with Erdrick... at this hour..." Erdrick smiled shyly at her and he said to her "I love you too Byleth and merry Christmas" Then Erdrick kissed Byleth on the forehead, Byleth blushed a little as looked at him and she smiled at Erdrick as she said to him "Merry Christmas to you too Erdrick and I love you..." Then Byleth fell asleep in Erdrick's arms, Erdrick looked at Byleth and he realized that she was sleeping in his arms. He yawned and he fell asleep while he was holding Byleth's hand. The room was quite as ever as the fireplace was still warm and the door was shut, then it striked midnight December 25th Christmas Day.
