Big Brother - JJ

Imagine being JJ's little sister 🥺
(As he's 16 you would be 14)
*warning* fights / bits of panic attacks

"Jay I'm so scared". Sympathy spread across my older brothers face as I looked up at him in pure panic, dreading having to past the kooks that made fun of me this morning.

"Hey. Look at me." He said as he crouched down to look at me straight in the eyes, clutching my hands softly and giving them a small squeeze.
"I'm always gonna be here to protect you okay? Even when your my age-"

I glanced behind me as I heard snickering in background, I could feel my eyes beginning to well up already. JJ noticed immediately of course being my older brother and all. My body began to shake as I remembered what happened this morning, not being able to control myself at all I fall into JJ as the laughing gets louder.

"Yo fuck off alright . She's just a kid." JJ spat as he held me in his arms as I continued to shake. The group slowly continued on still all smirking to themselves as they saw the state of me. But one boy in particular turned back around.

"You may be a pogue but holy shit your se-" he began. JJ glared at him not being able to get a full look at him as I was still in his arms.
"Go on continue speaking I dare you" My older brother sneered as his fist clenched together.

The boy seemed to notice but not back down. Almost as though JJ getting angry humoured him.
"I said. She may be a pogue but she's fucking sexy." He smirked down at me as I managed to move myself off JJ, wanting to get the hell away from here.

As I stood up, the boy went to grab my shoulder. That's when JJ launched himself at him.
"Don't you fucking dare touch my sister" he pulled his arm back and punched the boy straight in the nose causing a red waterfall to start trickling down his face.

A gasp fell from my lips as the rest of the kooks began to run towards us. A full fight breaking out between JJ and the kooks.
"JJ! JJ! Stop!" I cried as tears streamed down my face. I watched as his blood hit the ground from someone punching him in the jaw. As he tried to recover more people began to punch him.

Suddenly arms were wrapped around my waist holding me back from the fight. Screams admitted from my lips as I began to throw my legs around in panic.
"JJ! JJ!" I scream as the person holding me back began to move with me still in their clasp.

JJ's head whipped around as he tried to find me in amongst all the people.
"Y/n!?! Y/n!!!" He called as he pushed people out of the way trying desperately to locate me.

"JJ JAY" I scream loudly as I managed to kick the person holding onto me making them loosen their grip on me. I watch as JJ spots me, his eyes widening in horror as he runs towards me.

"GET OFF HER TOPPER."

Topper. Of course it's topper. How could it be anyone else. My body began to feel weak as his grip tightened around me, making it harder to breathe. And suddenly everything goes black. The last thing I see is JJ's worried face as I collapse.

Three hours later

Sunlight creeps around me as I squint trying to open my eyes. Rubbing them I sit up noticing I'm no longer in the chaos from earlier.

I notice someone sitting beside my bed, their head in their hands.
"JJ?" I croak out. He sits up immediately looking over at me.

"Thank god your okay" he sighs. "I'm so sorry y/n". He pulls me into a hug as I nuzzle my face into the side of his neck.

"Hey no it's okay. Thank you for protecting me" I whisper.
"Well that's my job silly" he chuckles softly as he pulls away from the hug.

We both pause for a minute or two. The sounds of the distant seagulls filling the slightly awkward silence.

"You sure your okay?" JJ says studying my face carefully as I take a drink of water. I nod slowly.

"Yeah. I'm ... okay" I give him a small smile as he gets up from his seat and walks towards the door.

"Hey jay. Are you okay? Is your face okay" I ask quietly as I notice bruises that are already forming upon his jaw line. He looks down at the floor before nodding.

"Nothing that hasn't happened before" and I know what he means. Deciding not to ask anymore questions that I know will bug him I nod back.

"Okay."
"Okay" he replies.

"Thank you JJ. Not just for today. But for everyday. I don't know what I'd do without you" I say as he smiles at me.

"Love you sis"

I smile at him, a smile I haven't shown in a very long time.

"Love you too J"
