Mindset is very important! 

Shifting wont work if you're stressed, overwhelmed, too excited, concentrated on something other than your dr, or if you're having negative thoughts towards shifting. Remember to never think/say negative things about shifting because that could really screw it up. 

If you're not in the right mindset and you haven't been for while, take a break. It's perfectly fine to take breaks from shifting. Actually, I highly recommend it! Taking breaks will allow you to get rid of your current mindset and find the right mindset needed for shifting. 

Some things you can do to get in the right mindset are:

Meditating (preferably with eyes closed while listening to calming music)

Reading script before bed every night

Taking a break from shifting (this does not mean you should stop meditating)
