(Standing at the door)

It has been an extremely shocking start for the day today.

Early morning Maa came to my...I mean his ....I mean the room I am staying and woke me up with a smile.

I smiled back although I was warned!!!

Something creepy 🙄 My mom was smiling a little too much. She managed to come upstairs with that scrape bandage of ligament tear and was switching on the geizer and asking me to get ready.

When I was about to enter the washroom I saw mom packing yesterday's jewellery in my suitcase. I was confused.

While I brushed and was about to take bath mom knocked the door.

While I opened the door mom and daadi were standing there with a small bowl of turmeric paste...

I was confused 😳

She quickly applied it on my cheeks my hands and legs. Before I could react any further they said...

'Done!!! Now have bath 🙄'

I found it strange.

So I stood near washroom door and tried to hear them.

I heard Daadi talk to Soudamini Daadi
..

'Yes Damini... I applied Dev's jhooti haldi to Ishu hihihihi'

My eyes popped out 😳

'Are they doing the rituals like seriously 🙄 what are they upto🤭'

I chucked the thoughts and had a quick bath while I saw Soudamini Daadi with Ahaana standing with a big plate having sindoor, mangalsutra, jewellery, and a pink lehenga.

It also had a pink dupatta...

Daadi asked me to sit on a chair and asked Ahana di to give me the thaali.

Then Ahaana Di made me wear the dupatta

Daadi kissed my forehead and said...

'Welcome home Bahu (daughter in law)'

I don't know why I got so emotional hearing that... A girl wants this so much from her in law's that they give her the deserved respect, love and care...but here Kapoor's showered me with beyond love and care 💓

I couldn't help it...my heart swelled...my eyes were a pool that silently shed tears

Daadi and Di hugged me tightly 💓

Di's big tummy was interrupting but she still held me tightly.

I dressed up while my suitcase was made ready.

I had no idea what was cooking in my Daadi and Soudamini Daadi's head
